I’ll tell you whose shirt it’s not! I cannot believe that’s what he was thinking about the whole time. Walking back to my floor, my mind is still spinning from what happened earlier. I’m sure everyone is up talking about it.
He showed up just when I was ready to accept the reality that my mate didn’t want me. Why does this have to be so complicated? Boy meets girl, they fall in love, mate, run a successful pack and have some babies along the way. THAT’S how it was supposed to be. That’s what I was told would happen. Reaching the gamma suite, the lights are off but I see a small light coming from Dan’s room. At least one of us is getting a fairytale ending. I’m so happy for them both, they have waited so long to find each other. Walking to my room, I took a deep breath and closed the door behind me. Maybe I’m just asking for too much. I grabbed my iPad from my bag, I put on my silk bonnet and I climbed into my bed. Time for a little bit of Netflix, to numb my mind.
