Calendrille carefully reviewed the report her two senior guards had brought her. What information they had gathered confirmed her suspicions. The king and the royal magician were involved in the ghost disease plague in Ciara. The army had been sent to occupy the town. Ciara was to be quarantined from the rest of the North Central District, blocked by checkpoints, guards, a hastily built fence. Aloysius and Varon were going there to directly investigate the outbreak tomorrow.
