We dropped Charlie off at the day care then headed up to Gavin's office. Shannon and the family lawyer, I think she said his name was Jonathon, were supposed to be meeting us in thirty minutes and I'm a nervous mess.
"Hey," Gavin takes my hand and pulls me into a hug, "everything is going to be okay. I told you Shannon is the best, and she works with the best. Tommy isn't getting his hands on Charlie not now, not ever."
