Today was the day that Lucy was going to go see Beth. We would be able to find out where they are keeping her, how to get there, how many guards are around her, and hopefully, find a few secret passageways and exits.
Lucy packed a bag and took her own car so it didn't seem like a threat. For the first part of the plan, it was all up to her. If Beth trusted her, it was good enough for me.

As I drove to Elizabeth's old pack, I started to get nervous. What if I messed up and they found out I was there to gather information? What if they kill me or Beth? I tried to ignore my doubts and stuffed them to the back of my head.
I had no idea what to expect when I got there. I didn't even know if they would let me see her but that wasn't going to stop me from trying. Ky said that I should go alone so they didn't get suspicious or see me as a threat. It's a riskier move but they are more likely to believe me this way.
I drove up to their property and was instantly met by a wolf who sniffed me.
"I am here to talk with the Alpha. I come in peace."
He howled and a group of people walked out of the forest. They check the inside of my car and patted me down to make sure I didn't have any weapons. Once they saw that I had none, they let me pass.
I parked in front and got out of the car with a duffle bag full of clothes. I was once again greeted but this time it was a woman.
"Hello dear, I am Luna Marie. What can I do for you?"
"Nice to me you Luna Marie. I wanted to speak with the alpha."
"What about?"
"Well, I know that Beth got taken here. I am her best friend and just want to see her. I was hoping to stay for a few days."
"I will have to talk to him about it myself. I assure you that it would not be safe for you to do on your own."
"Thank you, Luna. I appreciate your help."
"I can tell you really care about her. I am glad someone shows her the love she deserves."
She led me to a room with a couch, coffee table, and some chairs.
"Wait here," she said as she walked out of the room.
Did she seriously just say that? How is Jason mates with someone so kind? She cared about Beth having people to love her. Not everyone here was full of hatred for Beth.
About a half-hour later Luna Marie came back into the room.
"It took a bit of convincing but he agreed that you can stay here. However, for the safety of our own pack, if you choose to see her, you can't go back for a while. We want to make sure you aren't using her as an excuse to destroy us."
"I didn't come here for that. I care about her and I want to know if she is okay. I was searched outside and so was my vehicle. I didn't come here to hurt anyone."
"Oh, and one more thing. He wants you to be her caretaker and keep her alive. That's the deal."
"I understand and fully agree to those terms and conditions."
"It's settled then. I will show you to your guest room so you can set your things down and then I will take you to see her."
"Thank you, Luna."
"Your welcome dear."
She did as she said. She first led me to a small room above what I assumed to be a basement or something like that. It had a tiny window, a small bad, a dresser, and a bathroom. I set my luggage on the bed and followed her out, paying attention to the details of where she was taking me. What I thought to be a basement turned out to be more of a dungeon.
It was dark, gloomy, and the only light source was coming from tiny barred windows in each cell. As I kept walking, I realized that Luna Marie was no longer behind me. I looked back and saw her standing in the doorway.
"You will have to go without me. My husband had instructed me that it is in my best interest that I do not see her."
"Why?" I asked.
Her eyes were glossy and I could tell she was trying to hold back the tears. I figured out why.
"He's afraid you will feel sorry for her."
She didn't answer me and left.
He was afraid that his Luna would betray him and help Elizabeth. I can use that to my advantage.
I walked past the many cells. Some were empty and some were not. I got to the last one and I saw her. She was with a blanket covering her and she wasn't moving. There was a puddle of blood surrounding her. I heard the cries of people in the cell next to her and decided to ask them what happened.
"Hey, what happened to her?"
"Who are you?" a woman asked.
"I'm Lucy. I took care of her when she moved in with the Red Moon pack and I am her best friend. I came her to visit her."
"Lucy? We are so glad you are here. Finally, someone else who cares about our baby"
"What are you talking about?"
"We are her parents. I don't know if she told you about us."
"She did. She said you two died in a rogue attack and that's why Jason had to become Alpha."
"That's what she thought. Jason planned our fake deaths and then blamed it on her. He joined with the rouges and promised them a home and pack if they helped him take over the Red Moon Pack."
"Oh my gosh. But what happened to Elizabeth?"
"Jason got mad at her and sent three guys in her to do stuff to her. They injected us with something to make us pass out so we didn't see what they did. When we woke up we saw her laying on the floor with a blanket around her. We have tried calling her name but she hasn't woken up."
I walked toward Elizabeth and peeked under the blanket. She was completely naked with gashes all over her body and I realized what they did to her. I told her parents that I would be right back and I left the dungeon. I ran to my room to get a pair of clothes for her and a first aid kit to help with her wounds.
I ran back to the dungeon with the supplies and told her parents to look away. Her dad put his neck in his wife's neck but she didn't look away. I took the blanket off of her and got to work. Luckily at my old pack, my mother was a nurse and taught me the basics of caring for someone in need.
I made sure she was still breathing, which she was, but her pulse was slow. I cleaned all of her marks and bandaged her. I put her in an oversized T-shirt and a pair of sweat pants so that it wouldn't hurt the cuts all over her body. I ran my fingers through her knotted hair and tied it in a ponytail. Then I washed her face and cleaned up the blood on the floor. After I was finished, I laid her back down with a fresh blanket and sat next to her, stroking her forehead.
"Thank you," her father said.
"No need to thank me. I would do anything for her."
We sat there in silence for hours just watching her, waiting for when she woke up.
