I mixed in some herbs and some other things that they didn’t need to know about then said the spell as they instantly disappeared; I laughed and clapped my hands. “Holy s**t!” Flynn said in awe. “Can you see each other?” Mark asked them. “Nope.” Avalea laughed, I felt someone pinch my ass. “Hey! Cut that out.” I smiled, I dropped the spell and they appeared. “That was cool, that is going to come in handy.” Avalea smiled at me. “Flynn would you care for the next honors?” I ask him. “What are you about to do?” he asked a little nervously. “I'm going to change you without a full moon.” I smiled widely, they were all shocked. “Why not all of us?” Ky asked I looked at Mark. “How about if I watch from the com room on this one.” He left and locked the door. “This change will be different ok; even in your animal forms you will be able to understand each other.” I mixed everything together then cast the spell, it pulled more energy out of me but I could handle it. I watched as each of them changed in amazing animals, Ky’s wolf was breathe taking. I sat down on the floor and he came up and put his nose against mine. “Thank you.” I smiled as I ran my fingers thru his soft fur just before he licked my face. “Eww that’s just nasty.” I laughed as Avalea comes over. “How did I know that even as an animal you would still be stunning? Queen of the cougars, it’s a fitting name.” I winked at her; Flynn slithered up my waist and flicked his forked tongue at me. “Hey no more licking, I'm not a damn ice cream.” “Can we always be like this? I charge of our change?” Avalea said in a hopeful voice. “I don’t know, but if there’s a way I will find it.” She bumped into my shoulder in thanks, I broke the spell then a moment later Mark came back in smiling proudly. “Mark this is my gift to you, could be have a few minutes guys?” I asked them, they nodded and left. “I know about your family, I can’t give them back to you but I can bring them to you for a short time.” My voice broke a little and my eyes teared up when I saw Mark have tears in his eyes. I made a circle of salt on the floor around Mark. “When you step outside the circle the spell will be broken ok?” he just nodded, I cut my palm open and spilled some blood into a bowl of herbs then set it on fire and did the spell. In a swirl for bright white light Marks wife and 2 daughters appeared smiling at him, I cast a silence spell around the circle so it was just him and them. After about 20 minutes, he stepped out and the spells were broken. “You have no idea how much that meant to me Skyler, I have always wanted just 5 more minutes with my family and you have given me that. Thank you.” “Your very welcome, thank you for accepting me for what I am without judgement and for giving me a chance to learn who and what I truly am.” I kissed his cheek then slowly walked out to the kitchen; I was in dire need of coffee. I stumbled a little but Ky caught me before I hit the floor. “I think that took more than I realized.” I said as sleep took me, I woke up in my bed with Ky next to me. I studied his face and imprinted it to memory, I knew my time was limited but I didn’t know if I even wanted to go back anymore. Could I really go back into hiding the moment I left the squad? Did I want to? I was so confused. “Are you always so serious when you wake up? Or are you trying not to ravish me while I'm sleeping because I must say I wouldn’t be against that idea.” He said with a sly smiled but didn’t open his eyes, I smiled as I straddled him. “Like this?” I whispered as he grabs my ass. “Exactly like this.”
