I was sleeping on the uncomfortable sofa beside his bed when I heard sounds of him moving. My eyes flashed open and I ran towards him.
He is gaining consciousness.
I gripped his hands and he was trying to open his eyes. He slowly opened his eyes, emerald green eyes met my brown eyes and my cheeks started to warm up like it always used to. He tried to speak to me but he couldn't.
"Do you need some water? " I asked him.
He nodded. I helped him sit down and helped with the water. I went to call the doctor when I came back he looked at me and he then spoke,
"Amelia, why am I here? " He asked me.
"Don't you remember anything? " I asked him.
He thought for a while and then he spoke up,
" I was drunk and the people threw me out of the bar... Streets... Walking... Your house... You and Skyler" He started to sound impatient and disturbed. He looked at me and then looked at our hands intervened, I saw it too. I tried to remove my hands immediately but he gripped them tighter.
The doctor walked in before he could say something.
"How are you, Zander? " Doc asked him.
"I'm fine, I have Amelia beside me," He said chuckling. I did not say anything.
"She took a lot of care of you during these days, she's a keeper. Do not let her go" The doc said to him smiling.
"I'll never let her go" He gripped my hand even tighter. I looked at his emerald Greeneyes, which screamed determination.
The silence was broken by my ringing phone. I immediately reached it and received the call. It was Nathan.
"Mommy is daddy awake?? " He asked me.
"Yes baby he is, you can come and meet him," I said him smiling.
"Ok mom me and sky are visiting dad today," He says.
"Ok baby as you wish" And then he hangs up.
Skyler wants to be here.
I walk inside the cabin and I see someone sitting beside his bed and scolding him. When they heard the door open, they stopped. She loved me and there she was. My mom.
"Oh my child Amelia" She cried out and I ran to her and hugged her. Tears were running like never-ending rivers.
"Mom... I missed you " I said.
"I missed you too, my child. " She looked at me,
"Look at you, so beautiful and grown. I heard you are working with your father and flourishing your family business. I'm so proud of you" And she really was.
I looked at Zander who was feeling left out in the room, he was staring directly at me and smiling. Mom took a notice of it, she scoffed,
"Ooh, I was talking to this man, who is highly irresponsible and has been troubling you for years. I can't see the reason why don't you leave her alone. She needs her happiness too" She said to him.
"Mom it's ok," I said to her.
He looked shocked and then angry.
"I love her mom, I made a mistake letting her good once and I'm not doing the same mistake again. " He yelled. He kept running his hands on his hair. He gripped the hairs on his fist and started to pull out his hair. He then started searching for something and then he looked at me.
He stretched his arms towards me as a child does to his mom,
"Amelia, please don't go away, I need you, please be with me. I'll die without you" He started reaching out to me.
Mom was confused and teary. But I knew he had another attack. I slowly said mom,
"Please get the doctor for me, mom. He is having attacks. " She nodded and left.
He kept on calling me and screaming for me. I slowly started to walk towards him and then sat on the edge of the bed.
"Come closer please, I can't afford to stay away. " He tried to take my hands to his but all the wires were stopping him. I slowly moved closer, I have to calm him down someone before the doctor arrives.
" Calm down Zander, I'm here, calm down see-" I was stopped when Nathan and Skyler walked in. I was smiling at Nathan but suddenly Zander started shouting. He gripped my hands tighter and threw himself at me, Nathan looked scared and started to cry. Skyler took him in his arms, I tried to go to Nathan but Zander didn't let me.
"STAY AWAY FROM AMELIA!!! SHE IS MINE!! SHE WILL NEVER BE YOURS" he said to Skyler and then he faced me, "Please do leave me, please... " He is crying so much. I hugged him, he gripped around my waist.
The doctors came in and separated us. He kept screaming and shouting for me, he kept cursing Skyler, mom kept staring at Nathan and Skyler. I saw them give seductive to put him to sleep.
The doctors came to me and said,
"He's been going through a lot. His brain is clogged and so I request you to stay near him, don't let anyone else who triggers his emotions near him. " I nodded.
Oh, God!! What the hell is happening with me...
I saw him peacefully sleeping. I kissed his forehead and came out of the room.
Mom and Skyler were looking at him and then crying Nathan, I took him in my arms and his voice dried down to sobs.
"It's ok baby, I'm here. Dad is sorry too... Please forgive him" I said to him.
"Daddy was scary "He gathered his voice between his sobs.
"No baby he is sick, he is sorry " Nathan hugged me and I rocked him to sleep. He looked tired and scared.
I put him on the sofa and then came out,
"Mom and Skyler can you let me explain"I said to them. They nodded.
" Nathan is Skyler's son, not mine I adopted him. I found him in the park under the bench. A few days ago I came to know about Skyler's part of the story and I'm trying to reconcile within them. But Zander met Nathan before Skyler which worsened the conditions for Nathan". They both nodded and mom came and hugged me.
"You are such a good mother and a human I'm proud of you," She said to me. I turned to Skyler.
"Zander thinks you and I are dating and so he's so angry and fussy over you. He thinks you're trying to take me away. " I said to Skyler. He looked shocked and then nodded.
I hope I can sort everything out.

I'm trying to make it as less fussy as possible but seems it's all getting more complicated.
