chapter ten: "ken"

i got out the car with kyle holding the passenger door. today we had another meeting with the public but it was more important than the other meetings we had. we took one of the other prince's cars since he wanted the driver to take a break today since it was going to be more crowded than usual. we were traveling to the city and as royal's, we had to update the public. we were doing charity events which were a dream for me. i get to see my old friends after so long. the prince had other plans beforehand so he left early and i was meeting with him in the building. kyle closed the passenger door and put his hand on my back pushing me to walk faster since there was paparazzi walking towards the gate near us. kyle parked the prince's car near the back door. there were pack members guarding the gate door of course. 

"the alpha is waiting for us inside, also make sure you stay close to me or the prince. word on the street from the search team is the red pack alpha is going to be in this meeting today. they overheard is from there cave base." kyle said and he opens the door for me. i entered in quickly and kyle closed the door quickly. i fixed my hair as we walked down the hallway to the green room where the prince was at. 

"so there extra pack members guarding today? i hope the paparazzi will behave and not ask crazy questions. also, that means we'll see who the red pack alpha is too?" i questioned and kyle scoffed. he put his hands on his pants pockets. i fixed my violent dress which was loose down but tight on my chest and wasit to show off my curves. i had a leather jacket he lends me to cover up a bit more. he didn't want perverts looking at me which was nice of him. 

"i doubt that but it a maybe. alpha said the same but he also said it's a ten percent chance that we'll see him. he seems to know how to hide his tracks. he smarter than we expected." kyle said and i nodded. we got to the green room and kyle open the door for me and as i walk-in, i saw the prince talking to some more pack members. there making plans of where they should stand to guard. just then the prince noticed me and the pack members went to walk out the green room, i walked towards the prince and he walked towards me. he hugged me by my shoulder and looked at me woth a smile. then he frowned.  

"who's jacket is this? it, not mines." the prince sounded mad and then kyle put a hand on the prince's shoulder. i should have removed it when i got in the room. the prince looked at kyle anoyed. 

"it mines, i didn't want to much of princess's skin expose to the public." kyle said and the prince nodded as he now knows it's kyle. i started to remove kyle's jacket but the prince stopped me. i looked up at prince confused. kyle walked away from us and sat down at a couch nearby. he laid down with a pillow under his head. 

"keep it on. i agree with kyle even though your look beautiful in this dress. it best not to expose to much skin." prince put a smile back on his face and he pulling me to his chest. i rolled my eyes and hugged the prince back. the prince kissed my head and took in my scent. i swear he does this too much and it's kind of creepy. 

"also alpha i inform her about the red pack problem today, i told her to stay close to me and you." kyle said and the prince looked at him. the prince looks down at me with a serious face. i was ready for the small lecture the prince was going to give me. 

"kyle is right about the red pack and whatever he told you is true. the alpha will be far from us but that doesn't mean some of his pack members are not that far from us. they'll take a chance when there is one." the prince says and i nodded. the prince pulled away and started to fix my hair which was messed up again thanks to the prince hugging me. 

"Kyle told me he smarter then he looks so that means he's not as powerful as you?" i questioned and the prince looked supirsed. he looked at kyle and kyle nodded at the prince. the prince sighed and he looked back at me. 

"he is also right about that, are you and kyle secretly talking behind my back?" the prince said and i just covered my mouth trying not to laugh. we do talk a lot about things and kyle does talk bad things about the prince sometimes. kyle groaned and covered his face as the prince caught him. 

"Are you saying I'm doing a bad job? you told me to protect the princess and i can talk to the princess about whatever." kyle says and the prince rolled his eyes. he leans in making his forehead touch mines and looks down at me,

"yes and no kyle. tell me everything after the meeting what kyle told you." the prince said and kyle looked at us shooked. i shook my head and cupped the prince's cheeks. 

"i will but for now i think kyle wants to kill you right now," i say and kyle looked pissed. the prince kissed my nose and chuckled. 

"good, I'll beat kyle anytime. i am the alpha after all." the prince says and kyle closed his eye relaxing again. i closed my eyes and the prince kissed my forehead this time and hugged me by my shoulders. we had ten minutes until the meeting start.  

(unknown perspective) 

i was leaning against the back wall with some paparazzi near me. i was waiting for the meeting of maria and the prince of the north meeting. i was still mad that maria was with the prince of the north. just then the curtains open and the paparazzi went crazy. the prince and Maira walked out and then anther man walked out behind them. i was informed that the prince set a personal guard for maria since the prince knows were after her. that i didn't mind but that means it going to be more trouble for us to capture her if we need to. maria was in a violent dress tight on her chest and curves. she had a leather jacket on which I'm guessing is the prince's jacket. the prince and maria sat down but the other man that came out with them stayed standing close to Maira. I'm guessing that's the prince's partner. 

"Hello everyone, thank you for coming to the meeting. let's start with the updates we have in the next few days." the prince says and the paparazzi stayed quiet as they took note by everything there saying. i listen to everything carefully and they were planning to go back to the city for a few days. looks I'm going to meeting my old friends agian after a few weeks after moving back home. i noticed maria was quiet the whole time and she looked around as she probably knew the alpha of the red pack was going to be at her meeting. she then looks a the back wall where i was. she focused on me and looked confused for a few minutes. then maria look shocked and looked away as if she didn't see me. look like she finally found the answers that the prince is looking for. Maira did know i was an alpha when we were in school. It looks like going back to the city is going to be a fun vacation.

(maria ann's perspective) 

i walked back on the room with the prince behind me. i put my bag on the bed and removed kyle's jacket i still had on. i can't believe it, all these years and i knew ken was an alpha but the alpha of the red pack. i have to tell the prince but i think I'll hold off on that. 

"Are you alright princess?" the prince asked and i just turned around to look at the prince. the prince grabbed my hand and put his other hand on my waist. i smiled and the prince put his forehead on mines. he looks deep in my eyes and he knew something was disturbing me. 

"I'm okay, i should be the one asking you if you're okay? today was too much. were going to the city which is going to be more stressful for us. you know the city is going to be questioning us when they get the chance. " i say and the prince leans in and gave me a peck on my lips. 

"i know that much princess, let me ask you one more time. what's wrong? there something on your mind i know it. just tell me and i promise i won't get mad." the prince says and he pulled me against his body and now i was trapped. i can't escape now. the prince was still looking deep in my eyes and i sighed. i looked down and i knew i had to spit it out. 

"well i.." i paused and i knew if i say his name he's going to go crazy. "i think i know who the red pack alpha is. i saw him in the back of the room and i recognized him. don't get mad okay when i say his name." i say and the prince looked supirsed. 

"you know the guy? how?..now that i think about it i did say he was around your age. who is this man you know off princess?" the prince asked and i closed my eyes ready for the prince to go crazy. 

"ken..it's ken. you know the boy that wanted me to be his mate in my highschool days. i saw in the back of the room and he had red-eyes. I'm sure i also told you that he is alpha too. it makes sense." i say and right away the prince frowned knowing i was right. he kissed my head one more time and took in my scent. 

"so you meet eye with him? now he knows we're going back to the city so he's going back to the city too. i have to make sure you have extra protection. I'll have jorden and Leon protect you. I'll be fine by myself. they'll follow behind us all time plus that means free vacation. kyle will have to stay back to replace me as the alpha for the time being." the prince says and i nodded. great now i have two bodyguards. i didn't expect this to happen in my life. 

(prince Willam's perpective) 

it f*****g ken! i can't believe it's ken. i mean i saw a young man in the back of the room and i saw the princess looking at him with a confused look on her face but i didn't expect that to be ken. i did get a good look at 'ken'. i throw some papers on my desk as kyle was talking to the pack about the red pack now we know who the alpha. i got done doing my report and now i need to get ready to pack up for the city. i got up from my desk and just as i walked away from my desk i heard a knock on my office door. i groaned knowing it's kyle i lean back at the desk. kyle walked in my office with his hands in his jean pocket. he had the leather jacket he gave princess earlier today. 

"are you mad alpha? i see princess been a little worried about you and herself. she's scared to go back to the city and i can see it." kyle said and i guess i put a worried face. kyle sighed and walked over to me. "just go see the princess, you should comfort her." kyle said and i shook my head to this. he was right about this. i just got up from my desk and walked out of my office. kyle stayed in my office and clean up for me and maybe fix the report a bit. i couldn't concentrate the whole time while writing it. i made it to my room and knocked so the princess knows it's me. i walked in and i saw princess reading some more werewolf books. she really wants to know about us wolfs but i bet she has a good reason why. 

"Hey princess, how are you feeling?" i asked and the princess looked up from her book. she smiled at me and i sat down next to her. the princess was in one of my shirts that i said she can use. it was an old shirt so i didn't mind. 

"I'm okay, just scared when we go back to the city. ken will be there and you know it." the princess says and i just put my arms around princess's shoulders. i kissed her head as i felt princess melt in my arms and she closed her eyes relaxing. 

"were both scared but just know you have extra protection. I'll also be there too. I'm never going to leave your side." i say and the princess put a smile on her face. i put my other arm under the princess's legs and put her in my lap. the princess giggled as i held in close to me even closer. 

"i feel safe knowing that you'll never leave my sight. you don't know en as well as i do. i can tell you everything while we travel there. it best for you to know." the princess said and i nodded as i took in her words. 

"that would be useful, I'll hold on to that. for now, let's pack up. I'll help you pack" i say and the princess nodded as she looked at me. i look back down at her and kissed her sweetly. 

"Okay, let's pack up. my dad mailed me saying he'll be there too. my mom is also going to be there waiting for us as my dad informed her about the plans." the princess says and i nodded as i knew this was also going to happen. i have to see the princess's mom again which i don't mind. 

"I'll hold on to that too, let go and get packing," i say and this time i carried princess bridal styles i got off the bed. the princess yelped and i just walked tp the walk-in closet. 

"can you put me down? i can pack myself." the princess says and i just shook my head. i sat on the ground with the princess still in my arms. i put her in my lap and the princess looked at me confused. 

"Okay let's pack!" i say and the princess shook her head as she got off my lap. we started to pack and i let the princess choose her suitcase first since we have a lot of suitcases for traveling and i travel alot.

(maria ann's perspective) 

"ah, fresh air!" Jordan says and the prince rolled his eyes. we just landed in the city we just got off the plane. Jordan and Leon had theirs in their hands. my dad had mines and his as he stood next to me. the prince had his own suitcase beside him. the prince had his other hand intertwined with mines and he was looking around. 

"don't say that Jordan!  the city is full of factories. let go to our hotel room, we have a car waiting for us." the prince says and Jordan scoffed as we all walked. i pulled out my phone which was fully charged thanks to my dad. my dad had brought an extra charger for me knowing i forget things when he came to the house. i saw it had good service again. i put a smile on my face and just i was about to unlock my phone it was taken away from me. i looked up to see the prince put it in his inside suit pocket. 

"will-" i was going to yell out the prince's name and then i remembered the rules prince set about my phone when we land. one, i can use my phone when we're not in the public. i never used my phone ever during my meetings and when we walked around the north so the people don't know i have a phone. two, i can post things at all as everyone knows my name and most pople noticed i haven't posted in a while on my socials. i can take pictures but i can't post them. i frowned to this and just looked forward. the prince kissed my head as we were close to the car.  

"Sorry princess, my rules need to be met." the police say and the driver came out the car. the driver walked to the trunk and opened it as my dad put my suitcase and his own in there. Leon and Jordan did the same. the prince walked to the door and he opened it. i entered as he walked to the trunk and out his own in there last. the prince closed it as the driver nodded at him asking if he was ready. my dad entered second sitting next to me. Jordan and Leon sat across from me. the prince entered last and he closes the door as the driver went back to the driver seat. once the prince sat down he took out my phone from his suit pocket and gave it to me. "remember our rule, you can take pictures but no posting." the prince says and i just nodded as i grabbed my phone. my dad shook his head as he looked out the window. 

"what? princess has a phone?" Leon said and he looked at me shocked.  put a smirk on my face as i went to my i********:. i went through my post i missed the last few months. i saw a lot of people dm me. i didn't know if i should open it as it will say i read it. 

"she been but she didn't use it as the north don't have a good service. I'm sure her father agrees too." the prince says and looked at my dad. my dad looked at the prince and at Leon who was still shocked. jorden was just looking out the window as we drove through the streets. 

"i got used to not having my phone with me, my daughter, on the other hand, is not used to it." my dad said and i shook my head and saw how much fun my friends have in college partying. I'm glad i moved out and married out of the city. i can see myself in this life if the prince didn't see me. "also your mother is meeting us at the house went we visit her today for dinner at the house. you're going to see the old house soon, be ready." my dad says and i was shocked. now that i didn't about it i didn't see mom near the plane waiting for us. 

"Okay, she's probably busy with her work. i understand, at least i get to see her again after five months," i say and my dad smiled as he leans down and kissed my head. the prince looked down at me and smiled as he knew i was happy to be home. the ride was another thirty minutes and we parked at a big hotel. the driver parked in a VIP section made for us near the door. te car stopped and Jordan walked to the door opening it. Leon was next and they stood on the side of the door. my father walked out of the car and the prince was next in line. i was last and the prince held out his hand and he intertwined our fingers as i got out the car. 

"let go to our suite, were all tired. Leon and Jordan, help the driver bring up all the suitcases." the prince says as Leon and Jordan nodded. me, the prince, and my dad walked into the hotel and it took us another ten minutes to get to our suite. our suite had six rooms so it was like an apartment but better. u was shocked as Leon and Jordan came up with our suitcases on a roller thing all fancy hotels have. 

"dam alpha! you did have to buy such a big suite. the city is one place i want to visit again." Leon said and my dad rolled his eyes. he went to grab his suitcase and went to a room. the master bedroom was obvious as it was double doors. the single rooms had one door. 

"i have too as i didn't buy the suite. the king bought it. I'm in shock myself." the prince said and he walked to grab his and my suitcase. he walked towards the master bedroom and i followed behind him with my hand on my phone in my pocket. my phone was on silent so no way the public can't know i have a phone. also, we had open windows so it best not to use my phone right now. 

"I'll thank the king when i get a chance," Jordan says and i shook my head as i entered the master bedroom. i froze as i close the door. it was like our room back in the north but slightly smaller since we have a big walk-in closet and big bathroom. 

"you like it, princess? I'll close the window since we do need to nap. you're probably tired from the flight." the prince said and he put are suitcase against the wall near the bed. the prince grabbed a remote and closed the window shades. they moved down slowly as i see the sunlight disappear. 

of course, i like it! we do have dinner with my mom later tonight. are you ready for that?" i questioned and the prince walked up to me. he grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the bed. he sat down on the bed and put me in between his legs. he put his hands on my wasit and i just hugged the prince's neck for support. 

"i am ready even though it's my first time I'm meeting her. is she that crazy protective of you? i remember she didn't approve of me when she found out you found your mate." the prince says and now that think about it that was true. i had to stay in the prince's hotel room before we left for the north. 

"she was before i left but now i don't know. she might see me as a stranger," i say and the prince nodded. the prince leaned in and gave me a peck on my lips. i giggled and the prince looked deep in my eyes. 

"what are you thinking?" i questioned and the prince put a smirk on his face. i just looked at the prince confused. all sudden the prince pulled me into the bed and i yelped as i hit the soft mattress. the prince hovered over me with the smirk still on my face. 

"well, there's one thing but not sure if you're ready for it." the prince says and leans in and kisses my cheek to my jawline. he lowered his body so he doesn't crush me. i whined a bit as it did feel good. he reaches my neck to my sweet spot. i moaned as he bit my skin and for sure left a mark. i knew what he was thinking but i mean he been waiting for me for three months now. the public wants to know when our first kid is coming and i know the pressure is on. 

"you've been waiting for a long time now willam. i think I'm ready if you think I'm ready," i say and the prince leans back to look at me supirsed. it has to happen sooner or later and i been waiting for the prince to make his move. the prince was hesitating but he sighed as he leaned in again and peck my lips one more time before kissing me gently. i closed my eyes as the prince grinned against me and i felt his hand on my back reaching for my zipper for my dress. he prince pulled away from the kiss and he looked at me as he pulled the zipper of my dress down. 

"tell me when you want me to stop okay? i don't want to force you." the prince says and i just nodded. the prince leaned in and kissed me rougher and i put my arms around the prince's neck. i was wearing a shoulderless dress so the prince can just pull my dress down. "your so sexy, i can't wait to make you feel good." the prince says and kissed the other side of my neck and making more kisses marks. i know from my friends that it's painful at first but you'll feel pressure after. i was ready, i know the prince been suffering for a while.
