I could feel that I had had nothing else to give, but I could hear Damien shouting my name from a distance. It was like I was trapped in the dark. I had fought as hard as I could, but this felt like the end for me. I had never imagined that letting go of me would be hard for Damien, I guess I convinced myself that he loved the power he stood to gain throught me more that he loved me and I had somehow accepted that.
The only thing that gave me hope was the fact that I would finally be meeting my parents. Specifically my mom, I wasn't so excited to reunite with my dad because i had been through a lot because of him.
