‘You have to make sure it never happens again, promise me Arax! Promise me!’ How can he? When The King was awfully aware that The Crown Prince is keeping the girl inside his heart, the only thing that Arax couldn't control is his heart. Just like him, it stopped beating a month ago. "Arax" ‘You have to promise me’ "Arax" ‘Don't let him feel like you did’ ‘You have to promise’ ‘Arax’ "Arax!”  A voice shouted at him, Arax turned around and found his mate standing in the middle of their chamber, eyes fiery with anger directed at him, something even he couldn't control anymore. Edra adorned a beautiful white night-gown, her hair was tied to the back, revealing her smooth bare shoulder, spotless. No mark. "What?" he asks, eyes twitching with annoyance, at this moment he just wants to observe the moon, the bright full moon beautifully lights up the dark forest. The moon she happens to love as well. However, Arax wasn’t the only one who knows that fact though. That's why Edra keeps calling his name, distracting him from anything that could lead him into reminiscing to the time when she used to be alive. "Rydan," Edra whispered, his own son's name able to make him turn tense. This conversation had gone on for days now, about him trying to not be involved with the girl who happens to be his future wife. Rydan succeeds at not being involved with her, but his heart fails to do so. And The King was aware of that. He knows the matter will only worsen, but he wouldn't let it happen, ever. Because he did promise her.  "You don't have to worry," his word is cold, just like always, his eyes sending shivers down her body. "I'll make sure that history won't repeat itself. I don't want a girl to be in your shoes, she wouldn't last long like you" Arax said, turning around and stare out the window, looking at the moon in deep thought. Not aware that Edra clenches her fist and tries her hardest not to let her tears fall down. Why cry now? When no one ever heard her before.  • • ⊱∘────·❅·────∘⊰ • • Marking is an act of biting a female Werewolf either near her neck or shoulder, the mark can only be done by a male Werewolf to their mate, no one else can bear the mark, not even a second mate. It is fascinating for Elleryn to hear that fact when she was ten years old, biting the person that you love as if shouting to the world that the said person is taken and no one should come forward for her, as a kind of  protection for the female werewolves.  For fairies, there's no such a thing as marking, but all fairies know when a girl is taken by someone else because her aura would change, there will always be a pink tint around the said person, resulting in other people to stay away. But only fairies can see and feel that. However, werewolves though, their mark was meant to be seen for every creature and take effect the same way it did to other creatures. How she wishes to have such a thing, an impossible wish and a ridiculous one. "You haven't met your mate Yoani?" Elleryn asked, after noticing that her shoulder and neck is spotless. No marking whatsoever. Yoani becomes tense, but she tries to hide it well. It's almost impossible though, hiding it in front of the Daughter of Qye. "Yes, I believe he died already," Yoani said, looking at the ground. "Why?" Elleryn asks this time, wondering at the same time, how could she believe that? Mate is probably the best thing a werewolves could anticipate for years. "I have reached the age of twenty five. Werewolves are usually visited by their mate before the age of twenty, because the minute they turn twenty three, male werewolves will run off immediately towards their mate, as you can see. I haven't met him, perhaps he died already," she whispered, trying to hold back her tears. "If what you said is true, then there's a possibility that he hasn’t reached the age of twenty three, right?'' That sentence made Yoani raise her head immediately, staring at Elleryn with a grateful smile. Just like Lady Byrl, she said the same thing as well when Yoani turned twenty. "I will keep it in mind, thank you," Yoani bows her head before she turns around and leaves the room to warm Elleryn's tea. Yoani leaves Elleryn in deep thoughts. Rydan will also run to his mate as well when he turns twenty three. Marking her, stand by her side and be with her. The thought simply hitch her breath immediately, her heart constricted in a painful way, making it almost impossible to breathe. A teardrop streams down her left cheek. This shouldn't be happening.  • • ⊱∘────·❅·────∘⊰ • •  It was raining outside. The morning on the way to Suttern, seems like an unpleasant one, considering the morning rain and thunder that are beginning to c***k the sky. "There's something," Ezana whispered, staring out the window from inside the carriage. Avra squeezes her daughter's hand, assuring her that everything is okay. "Why do you think like that?" Avra asked, hugging her body, shielding her from whatever it is out there. Ezana sighs before she closes her eyes. "Genieve is restless, she keeps groaning and huffing," Ezana stated, before she raises her head and looks at Avra's eyes this time. "Sister will be in trouble," she whispers the word, Avra frozen in place, afraid for her first daughter's safety. She could only hope nothing would happen.  • • ⊱∘────·❅·────∘⊰ • • Elleryn ran through the hallway, her hair was flying around but she didn't care, her flush cheek and harsh breath were prominent. She wasn't aware that a few soldiers and servants were bewildered by her appearance, but once again, she didn't care. She only wants to be at the gate as soon as possible.                      To meet her family. She turns and arrives at the gate, a big smile plastered on her face the minute Ezana comes out of that familiar carriage, her eyes wandering around before settling on Elleryn, smiling from ear to ear, the girl runs towards her and shouts her name loudly. Elleryn walks down the entrance and welcomes Ezana with an open arm, hugging her the minute she wraps her tiny arm around her neck. Ezana giggles and whispers to her sister. "I miss you," she said, before kissing her sister's cheek. Elleryn laughs and nods before she also kisses the girl red cheek repeatedly, earning a laugh from her. "Me too," Elleryn whispered, squeezing the girl tightly, not wanting to separate ever again. But she can't wish for the inevitable not to happen, though. So she could only dream and sigh at this moment. A moment she would cherish forever. Elleryn opens her eyes and finds her mother standing in front of her, her father right behind standing beside her brother, all smiling towards her. Elleryn couldn't hold back her tears, letting go of Ezana she immediately hugged her mother tightly, once again wishing for time to stop. "You have no idea Elleryn, how much I want to see you," Avra whispered, tears streaming down her cheek, Elleryn shaking her head and looking at her mother's serene light blue eyes, still inside her arms. "I think I know, because I feel the same way," Elleryn whispered and brushed her teary cheek, before smiling at her father and brothers. Now that her family is here, she has to be prepared for the Wedding tomorrow. The inevitable. She must protect her family, no matter what.
