Scene 1 – Sophia and the Book of the Sun of Ages
The room was drowned in a heavy silence, broken only by Sophia’s shallow breaths as she lay on the bed, her face pale and her eyes weary.
The door was tightly closed, and the dim light from the bedside lamp spilled out like a faint golden thread, brushing the edges of her face and casting trembling shadows on the wall.
Sophia held the mysterious book in her hands — the one that hadn’t left her side since she found it. She read in a low voice, almost a whisper, a whisper so soft that no one but she could hear it.
The words of the manuscript slipped from her lips like ancient incantations, dissolving into the cold air of the room, filling it with an eerie sense of reverence and dread.
