Scene 1 – The Guards and the Dog in the Chalet
Night had fallen over the chalet, and darkness enveloped the place with a deadly silence.
Outside the chalet, five bodyguards stood by the car, their faces marked with anxiety and tension. Every movement, every sound, weighed heavily on the air, thick with fear.
Inside the chalet, Sharif and Alaa were in the same state, their eyes and movements dominated by unease. Sharif sat on a chair in the living room, while Alaa sat opposite him on another chair, exchanging uneasy glances. On the small table before them lay their submachine guns.
Sharif spoke with frustration:
> "There’s no point in us being here… why did the minister leave us alone?"
Alaa replied in a low, tense voice:
> "I don’t know… is there a kitchen in this chalet?"
