Promises Like Sugar

Promises like SugarElliot sat on Randy's bed, reading something about farming, he didn't know, he wasn't paying attention. His eyes were locked on Randy who sat in a rocking chair in the corner, scrolling through his f*******: feed.  "All my high school friends are having babies" he groaned but glanced up at Elliot, gauging his reaction to the statement.  "so?" Elliot asked coking a brow, knowing what Randy was doing and looking for, he was just going to tease him and make him wait for it.  "So? if they're having babies shouldn't I be having them? we are the same age after all" he pouted.  "One: you're only 28, I’m 34, if anyone should be pressured to have kids it'd be me" Elliot stood up and walked over to Randy, still pouting. Elliot squatted down in front of Randy and placed his hands on the outside of Randy's jean covered thighs, "Two: who would you have babies with?"  "I don't know? someone dependable, someone who lives close by" "Like in your room?" "Maybe" Randy smiled. Elliot had officially moved in two weeks after their first date, and now, two months into their dating life they've been doing quite well. Elliot was working on fixing up a shack on the land next to The Sterling's family land and got a job doing construction in town.  "How many babies would you have with this person?" Elliot asked.  "5" "5?" "Maybe more"  "Jesus" Elliot chuckled and moved to his knees, he leaned forwards and caught Randy's lips with his own, "you're crazy"  "Kids are great" Randy declared.  "I agree" Elliot rested his head in Randy's lap, "but 5 is so many" "I'd adopt, not like I’d be adding 5 humans to the world, I can't really do that" Randy threaded his fingers in Elliot’s stiff black hair and Elliot sighed at his lover’s warmth.  "If you got pregnant I’d take care of you" Elliot said offhandedly, not really thinking of the words spilling from his lips.  "Such a gentleman" Randy rolled his eyes. "Aren't I?" Elliot laughed and turned around, he stood up and grabbed Randy's arms. Randy dropped his phone, but he didn't care as Elliot pulled him in for a deep kiss.  Randy grabbed at the fabric covering Elliot's pecs and mewled, Elliot wrapped his arms tightly around Randy's waist and kept him as close as he could get without morphing into one human being. Randy's arousal was painfully clear, yet Elliot was calm, commanding, just like the officer persona he swore he left in Iraq.  "Do you want to move to the bed?" Elliot asked, his voice deep and raspy, the pleasure finally reaching him as Randy attempted to get friction.  "God yes" Randy breathed hotly.  When Elliot made the move to pick the farm worker up, Randy panicked and came to his senses, "wait, I mean no, not yet"  "Not yet?" Elliot asked, not offended or angry, just confused, they were practically dry humping, but Randy rejects his advances, again not angry, just wondering.  "Yeah...not yet" Randy pushed himself into Elliot's chest, looking to hide from the embarrassing subject.  "Wait, Randy, are you?" "A virgin, yeah" Randy blushed a deep red and Elliot had to hold himself back from laughing, this silly boy, he didn't mind that Randy wanted to wait, he'd wait forever for Randy.  "Hey" Elliot smiled, "it's okay, I don't care or mind, as long as I get to kiss you and call you mine I don't have an issue with waiting, hell I spent 8 years without s*x overseas, I’m sure I can last awhile longer." "I'm waiting until...I get married. " Randy whispered, still embarrassed.  "That's very admirable, I respect that and your wishes" Elliot sated, feeling weird being so formal with his boyfriend but he felt it needed to be straightforward.  "So, you're okay with waiting? I mean I don't want you to do all this and then us not work out and it all be for--" Randy was cut off with Elliot's lips covering his own. "I don't care if I wait forever, not of this not working out talk" Elliot declared.  "How'd I get so lucky with you?" Randy smiled against Elliot's lips. "I should be the one saying that" Elliot glanced at his watch and hissed, "I have to go to work" "It's annoying that you work in the evening" Randy complained.  "It's too hot during the day to work" Elliot scurried around the room grabbing his work clothes and darting into the bathroom to change into them, "Besides how am I going to buy you a thirteen-carat diamond if I don’t work?" "13 is a bit small teddy"  Elliot poked his head around the door frame and squinted his eyes but smiled. he stepped out in a blue t-shirt and paint covered tan cargo pants. He left while tightening his belt and kissed Randy on the temple, "I’ll be home by 9, alright?" "Yeah, be safe, I’ll save some dinner for you" "Thank you and yeah I’ll be safe"  "Work hard" Randy called while Elliot started to walk out the room and down the hall.  "I will, love you!"  Randy stood wide eyed, Elliot just said he loved him...what.
