9 Todd figured there would be a handful of survivors hiding out in the school but found he had been mistaken when they got to the small gym. The place was packed with people, at least a few hundred, and there were tables set up with food, juice, coffee, tea, water. It wasn't unlike a social gathering. The survivors had formed into small groups and were talking amongst themselves as if they were at a party instead of in hiding. It was obvious they saw the school as in an impenetrable fortress, rather than what it was.
