Chapter 03

"It's okay, you just got kidnapped." replied mom. "I know, okay, look, I'll be back, not to worry, if I go missing, call on this number okay?" asked Tim. "What I'm..." said Mom before Tim hangs up the phone. "Sorry." said Tim.

"It's fine, so, protective mom, huh?" asked Selina. "Over protective seems like a understatement." said Tim. "So, Tim, if you don't mind me asking, didn't you win the Best Ethical Hacker Award in 2016 Cybercry Competition in Calgary?" asked Afreen. "I did.. phew.. feels like a lifetime ago." said Tim.

"Wow, Tim, you're a hacker?" asked Selina while she shares a slight look to still see Irene's worried expression, just not on her this time. "Ethical hacker, it's not the same thing." said Tim. "Oh, right." said Selina. "Then how did you get here? I mean, like in our school?" asked Afreen. "It's.. wait, how did you know about the award anyway?" asked Tim.

"I.. did uhmm research?" said Afreen. "You researched on me?" asked Tim. "Well.. she ain't the only one, kidnappers usually research, before, you know, kidnap." said Irene.

"Hmm.. makes sense, you mind if I use this?" asked Tim showing the phone with Selina. "By all means, except for the gallery." said Selina with a wink. "Sure, I'm not a peeking type." said Tim as he begins using the phone, researching about ghost sightings.

"You're a hacker?" asked Irene. "Ethical." replied Tim while using. "Yeah, Ethical hacker, what does it mean actually?" asked Selina. "Well... it's more like a person who specializes in penetration testing and other testing methodologies that ensure the security of an organization's information systems. Ethical hacking is a term meant to imply a broader category than just penetration testing, it's more.." said Tim before getting interrupted by Irene.

"Oh, I think I.. uhm. got it, thank you very much." said Irene to which Tim sighs. "In basic terms, it's more like a... a police in the field of network, like making sure devices or programs don't get hacked." said Tim. "Police hacker, nice." said Irene. "You still haven't told us why you are.. well all the way from Kanas, to here?" asked Afreen as Tim glances more articles relating to Jinn sightings in Brampton.

"Well..it's a.. it's a bit complicated, not something you can say in few sentences." said Tim. "It's okay, right Afreen?" asked Selina. "Yeah, yeah, of course, I'm. I mean." said Afreen. Soon they reach onto the town of Brampton and Tim gets ready as his stop arrives. "This is it, park over there." said Tim pointing on to a direction.

"Of course." said Selina as she stops towards the point where Tim showed as he then begins to get out from the vehicle. "Okay.. well.. thank you guys, for.. not killing me, and rescuing me." said Tim towards the passengers from outside. "Anytime, call us if you need anything else Tim." said Selina.

"Oh, right, the phone, I forgot (hands over her phone which she receives) thanks." said Tim. "You're welcome, bye." said Selina as she drives away while Tim waves goodbye, then turns away with a relief face, but suddenly he hears a squeak sound, only to see the girls yelling over something, he turns away finding it too weird and begins walking towards his apartment. Soon as he reaches the door, his mother is seen waiting eagerly at the door and once she sees him, she hugs him rightly. "Mom, I'm fine, it was nothing I told you." said Tim.

"I missed you so much." said mother. "Did you eat something? did they do something to you?" asked Mother. "No, they didn't, I'm alright, maybe dinner would be nice. " said Tim to which mother breaks the hug and accompanies him inside.

Meanwhile, After having devoured Matthew, Khayun Jinni roams aimlessly, hoping to find direction in the lonely woods.

Unable to remember how he ended her and slowly beginning to lose his former memories, Khayun is tormented within, with also feeling lonely and depressed which he finds confusing because he never felt this way before.

Just as he roams, he sees a deer having a sip of water, just as Khayun attempts to greet it, the deer runs away upon the sight of him, only to get bitten by one of the predatory wolf which arrives with its pack.

Just as it devours and eats it's meal while Khayun watches it curiously. Seeing the usual appearances of Khayun, the wolves doesn't become alarmed, but rather alerted and attempts to warn Khayun to stay away from them. Khayun takes few step in front, as one wolf roars and leaps on him, only to attack nothing but thin air.

While it remains confused, Khayun unknowingly flows within the wolf and possesses it without his willingness. The wolf tries to resist while other wolves watch it and become alarmed. Khayun finally awakens in the form of the wolf, with nothing but rage and hunger feeling within him. He is able to see nothing but his next prey, and the urge to howl, which he does.

Just as the Alpha of the wolf attempts to put him down, he fights back, and roars in a unusual way so loudly, the alpha whimpers and backs away. Seeing the other wolves all looking at him for instruction, Khayun attempts to call onto them, but feels this sudden smell of fresh blood at a distance.

Without a signal, Khayun storms off to which the pack follows him too. The pack tries their best to keep up with Khayun, but his abnormal speed is too fast to even come close too. Unable to run any further, one by one, the wolves in the pack fall down in exhaustion while Khayun races forward.

Meanwhile in the distance, deep within the forest, a group of cult members have prepared themselves for a satanic ritual. Their sacrifices, one of which is a little boy, is begging to let him go while the cultists continue with their ritual, calling onto Satan himself with strange incantations.

Soon as the incantation is done, the Cultists with a dagger starts slicing the throats of the sacrifices except the little boy who is dragged onto the fireplace at the center of their ritual. Just as he's pushed away, Khayun from nowhere emerges from the forest and bashes through the forest to grab the kid before he's fallen onto the flame.

The Cultists who witnesses Khayun in the form of a wolf as his skin is being burnt in the fire while smoking Jinnic aura flows all over him, they start falling down on their knees, thinking it is indeed Satan who arrived. Khayun looks around suspiciously, then struggles with a angry roars as cultists spell out strange prayers to him.

The little boy takes a piece of cloth close to their camp and attempts to cover it to remove the flame despite the pleas of the cultists not to. Unable to understand what's going on with rage of blood nearby and the burning, Khayun releases himself from the body of the wolf and possesses inside the little boy and awakens. He observes his body, then goes towards a dagger with fresh blood and smells it.

Out of nowhere, the flame bursts from within, causing a huge blast within as a demonic presence emerges within. "No! No! it was interrupted! years of planning, all for nothing, interrupted!" yells the demonic presence in Jinni language which Khayun understands while the humans don't.

"You.. you are a jinn?" asked Khayun. "You! it was my only plan to come back, my only way back to save my daughter from that freak, and you ruined it!" yells the demonic presence. "It is f*******n to have relationship within outer worlds, you would be sent to the deep for this." said Khayun.

"No! you don't understand! it must be done.. she.. she must live." said the demonic presence. "Who must?" asked Khayun as the cultists slowly get up after worshipping him for long. "Who are you first? why have you come here?" asked the demonic presence.

"I was banished, I am sorry, I merely prevented a child to be suffering a fate far worse than death." said Khayun. "Yet, you possessed him, talk in his body itself, which should be rightfully mine." said the demonic presence.

"Then come and get it." said Khayun to which the demonic presence start transforming into a more monstrous form than his previous one and steps out of the flame with a roar. "Something is wrong, we angered him, leave, leave while you can!" yells the Cultists as they begin to run but suddenly the demonic presence prevents them from moving and pulls them.

"Where do you think, you're going? your job isn't done yet." said the demonic presence as he transforms the cultists into fiery demons as Khayun lunges forth onto him, firing him with his blasts.

Despite the massive figure of the demonic presence and it's minions out to fight Khayun, he remains untouched, with every step they take, he flies through them, and pulls out the smoke within, turning off their source of flame before they touch his possessed body. "You! take the kid, without it, he's nothing!" yells the demonic presence as his minions obey and start hunting down for the kid.

Unable to defend the possessed body and attack them, Khayun pushes himself down the floor and emerges out as the fiery minions return empty handed.

"Enough!" yells Khayun as he launches a massive blast, causing a huge smokey explosion. "You dare speak against me?" asked the demonic presence. "Speak seems to be a waste of time, I'll something worse instead!" yells Khayun as he lunges towards the demonic presence itself, attempting to possess the demon itself.

"No! stop! what are you doing!" yells the demonic presence as Khayun slowly infects him from within, turning his own body against himself.

"You pathetic being! you should have thought twice before attempting to fight against me!" yells Khayun as he absorbs the demonic presence within himself.
