Rose was staying on her back and looked long at the sealing. Another dream shook her to the core. She left Tia's room at some point and went to hers. She needed so much to process it what the hell was that? What was going on with her? She tried to keep her breath when she heard Tia coming at her door, knocking. She asked her just to leave because she wasn't feeling good. Of course, Tia tried to force the door and come to check on her friend, but Selene already locked the door. After a few colorful words, Tia decided to leave, but not before mentioning that things will not remain like that. Selene waited for her friend to leave and went to the kitchen to make herself a nice cup of coffee and try to sit and arrange her thoughts. With the cup in her hand, she went on the sofa, where the house had the best view. But sitting down, not the view was worrying her, but her own mind. She knew about herself that she wanted to be a psychologist, and she worked her ass to achieve this goal, but now she was feeling like her mind was playing tricky games on her. She always thought that she could read people's minds because of her study and exercises, but now she wasn't so sure. The dreams she was having... they weren't looking like dreams. More like memories. That was what was annoying her. How on earth she could have such memories? From where? There was a possibility, but it was so absurd, that she refused even to think about it. Usually, she was very engaged in her studies, but now... something was happening to her, and she did not know what. While sitting and contemplating the window she heard a knock at the door. She felt so drained, that she decided to let it go. She was in the mood for no one and only the idea of having a conversation with anyone was making her want to sit exactly where she was. As soon as the insisting knock on the door stopped she thought that she heard the door opening and closing. That snapped her out of her contemplating and made her look over her shoulders at who would dare to knock and enter the house after he received no answer. She felt his perfume before hearing his voice,
" Why are you hiding here when is such a lovely day outside?" asked Gray with a smile that made Rose glad for the fact that she was sitting because she felt all of a sudden how her legs softened. She tried to hide her weakness by taking hard on him.
" From where you are coming, if people are not answering the door, you barge in their houses? Or maybe you indulge yourself with some illicit hobbies?"
The laughter that came from his chest made her soften even more. She had never thought that a man can laugh that sexy. She swallowed hard and try not to let her emotions cross her face. She could see clearly that he was enjoying the exchange of words between them. He did not look a little bit disturbed by their exchange of words,
" I assume my mistake," he said with a big smile on his face. " I have the impression now that whatever I would say now, you won't go for a walk with me..."
She rose from the couch annoyed and went to the kitchen with him behind her.
" You have the best impression but it is missing from your impression the fact that I want you to leave my house since I haven't invited you in."
With the thumbs in the back pockets of his jeans and a big smile on his face, he replied to her,
" Well, that proves that I am not a vampire..."
Her jar dropped. She turned back to him, feeling the nerves in her body escalating to a higher pressure.
" That is your excuse? That you are not a vampire? " she turned while waving her hand at him." Apparently, from where you come, reality and folklore are one and the same."
He approached her, sitting a palm away from her back, having his smile faded.
" You can insult my literature, but you need to have an open mind."
She turned back at him and with the movement, she made she almost touched his chest. An electric air started to circle around the while they were looking into each other's eyes. Rose was trying to keep her ideas in one place,
" How come you enter uninvited into my house, but you sound most offended?"
Involuntary he raised his hand to her cheek caressing slowly, liking so much the softness he was feeling while doing it.
" I am not offended," he said in a low voice," But I am ready to pay for my acts if that would make you forgive me."
Rose swallowed hard,
"I don't need any payment," she managed to say.
Again his smile, which was making even his eyes brighter,
"Oh, but I need. I don't like to have debts." with no other signs he gently grabbed the back of her neck and took the assault off her mouth. Rose went from surprise to a state close to ice melting in a split second. Her hands were not able to move and she was feeling like the room was moving but his hands were holding her, pressing her chest to his, from the back of her neck and her lower back. At the first impact when she felt his lips on hers she kept her eyes open, but as soon as he deepened the kiss, her eyes closed automatically. The moans coming from her thought made him want to press her even more to him, to feel all her curbs and forms.
They heard a cleared throat behind them,
" That is why you didn't want to get to school with me?"
