A few days later, ken visited pat and Kyle. Unlike the other time ken walked into the compound quietly and slowly every step he took, he took it carefully.
But, unknown to ken, Kyle had been watching him right from the moment he set foot in the compound. Kyle flew down from the tree top and perched on ken’s left shoulder. that jolted ken .Kyle chirped, then flew to the window, chirped several times and flew back to perch on ken’s shoulder, shortly, pat came out of the house and seeing ken, she smiled and asked, “how are you ken?”
Ken smiled back and answered, “I am fine thank you. Is your aunt home?”
“No he left for the market a moment ago” she answered, “where do you live?”
“I live six houses away from here,” he answered
“And who do you live with?” pat asked
“I live with my parents,” he answered
“you’re lucky, I am an orphan, that why I live with my aunt,” pat said
“sorry about that,” ken said
“thank you,” pat answered
“how old are you pat?” ken asked
“I am twelve years of age” she answered
“I am ten years of age” ken said
Kyle chirped and ken looked at pat , pat said “kyle says he is a year old,”
Ken smiled and patted kyle on the head.
Then they heard anti blessing greet someone by the balcony. Kyle flew away into the nearby tree and ken ran out of the compound, pat ran into the house.
