"Are you guys done yet?" the deep melodic voice came from behind them as Scarlett turned towards Vincent. "None of your business." her voice was as cold as ice as she stared sharply at Vincent. Vincent chuckled as he looked at them, one look at Riordan and he could tell that Riordan's intentions towards Scarlett which Vincent didn't like a bit. Vincent was in front of Scarlett in a flash Ashe leaned down and stared at Scarlett in the eye. Scarlett was used to him using his powers out of blue, she wasn't startled at all but she was bothered by the closeness. Vincent's face was out inches away as his deep amethyst eyes glowed at the dim lights. Scarlett was already out of breath as her knees were giving in. 'f**k this mate bond' he thought inwardly. Scarlett moved backwards and cleared her throat, she turned towards Riordan. "I'm leaving now. It's getting late." "Go with me, Scarlett." Vincent was glaring daggers at Riordan. Riordan could sense the hostility Vincent held towards him but Scarlett wasn't aware of anything. Scarlett sighed as she looked back at Vincent. "Let's talk on the way home." Vincent's eyes softened and his features turned gentle when he saw the complex look of Scarlett. Vincent knew Riordan must have told something he wasn't supposed to. "Let's go." Vincent grabbed Scarlett's hand and walked away. Riordan watched Scarlett's back in disappointment. ____ Vincent and Scarlett sat in silence in the car, Scarlett was looking out of the window, the city lights were dazzling as Vincent couldn't keep his off her. Two months ago.... A man was kneeling down on the ground, "I really don't know anything else. It's a very precious bracelet, it's extraordinary, no one really knows what that bracelet is capable of, it holds a secret power." Vincent's blood red eyes glowed in the dark as he stared at the man kneeling on the ground. "108, Maron Vales, Cinnan Street." Vincent's sharp voice ringed in the man's ears as the man's eyes widened in fear. He bowed down quickly and cried out, "I swear to God, I don't know anything else. I'm the only one involved in this, please don't drag my family. I beg of you, My majesty." Vincent's cold eyes stared at the man for a moment before he turned back. "Prison him." In a flash, Vincent teleported in a dark alley when a heavenly smell of blood hit his nose, he took a deep breath as his eyes widened in fear and his head turned towards the direction of the smell. 'It can't be. It's her blood.' He looked around desperately as he ran towards the smell in the speed of lightning. He could see a figure lying on the ground and in a flash he was in front of her. Her body was as pale as paper due to the blood loss. He could feel his heart breaking as he stared at the young women lying in the middle of the road in a pool of her own blood. The smell of blood was irresistible so was her natural fragrance. "Plea..ase.. don't.." Vincent felt the lump in throat as he choked in pain, tears started streaming down his face, the almighty ruthless Vampire Prince was actually crying and praying to heavens. His knees went jelly as he fell on his knees in front of her, although Scarlett was dizzy but her silver like gray eyes lit up at the sight of him, she was looking at him in desperation, her silver gray eyes held his deep amethyst eyes for a moment -lost in each other. Scarlett was struggling to speak as her body was one of much pain, she couldn't bear it anymore but she somehow managed to choke out a few words. "Save me." The melodic voice ringed in Vincent's ears, her voice as soft as feathers, she choked out blood before losing her conscious. Vincent couldn't process the fact that his mate was dying in front of him and he couldn't think straight. His mate, his soulmate, his other half was dying as he felt the pain in his gut. He took a deep breath as his right hand reached her face shakingly and he touched her face lightly, the wave of electricity went through his veins at the touch as he came back to his senses. "Scarlett, wake up love. Please." he held her in his arms as he took a deep breath before checking her pulse -a very light movement. The ruthless Vampire Prince was actually begging for her, it was the first time in his life he felt defeated by destiny. Scarlett lost too much blood so making her drink his blood won't work. There was only one of saving Scarlett now. "b****y Murder!" he cursed out as his deep amethyst eyes turned b****y red in a flash. "I swear to God, I'll find you and kill you in such a painful way that you'd never imagined before." he chokes out a string of curses as he felt his heart beating wildly against his chest, although it was Scarlett who was dying but Vincent felt the pain she was going through, he felt as if his heart was bleeding by thousands of needles pricked in it. "I'm really sorry love. I don't have any other way to save you but this. I think you'll hate me for this but I can't lose you now or ever." he murmured softly in her ears as he held her tightly. Vincent's fangs appeared as his b****y red eyes glowed, he leaned closer to the nape of Scarlett's neck, usually where they mark. 'I'm really sorry Scarlett. This is the only thing I could do to save you. I have to turn you into a Vampire.' Vincent knew Scarlett was human and for a human this might be the worse thing ever but he can't lose her. Vincent would prefer to die instead of her but destiny had other plans for them. Vincent traced his fangs on the nape of her neck, her smooth skin ignited fire in him. His heart was burning, he was holding her so tightly as if she would disappear if he loosens his hold. He was at the end of his wits and scared as hell. Vincent kissed softly on Scarlett's neck as the sparks flew all over his body, he knew Scarlett felt it too when she shivered in his hold. Vincent closed his eyes before sinking his fangs in her skin....
