The Escape
The thick silence felt suffocating in the room where I was kept- not kept but prisoned. I opened my eyes and found the cold and dark room rather comfortable but I wasn’t planning on being prisoned for the rest of my life. Just another hour and I’ll execute my master plan to escape this hell hole. I heard that a rogue pack was planning to attack and from what I know, he will be off to deal with them and so will be the half of the guards from here which will make my plan of escape easy or so I thought. _An hour later_ I paced the entire room for the last hour weighing the pros and cons of my plan. I had to get out of here. I peeked out of the window which gave me a overview of the front of the mansion -yeah I was prisoned in a big mansion. He definitely is a freak. He thinks I’m still undergoing the changes and he didn't have a slight idea that I’ve already adapted to the changes. I can do it- is what I chant in my head as I focus my spiritual energy and try placing my hand on the door and to my surprise my hand looks so pale and light it passes through the door with ease, taking a deep breathe I try to pass the closed door and here my friend is what success feels like -the moment I open my eyes. I find myself standing out of the locked room which I was prisoned in. There were two guards standing but they couldn’t see me. I smiled widely as I made my way towards the back of the mansion. Escaping from the back was the best option as it has a long and wife forest for me to hide and escape successfully if I try my best. I passed the hallways and felt my energy draining already. I increased my pace and came across an old room which was sacred and figured that she will be prisoned here. She has to be and I’ll have to take her with me. She was a child afterall and didn’t even knew why she was captured. Being a black witch by birth is not her fault afterall. I went in and found her small figure on the bed passed out ofcourse. I saw a white substance which had to be salt of some sort making a barrier and squatted down and blew the salt with all my might and it scattered in one blow. I quickly got the small figure off bed and held her tightly and ran for my dear life, finally passing through the last gate – I could see the dense forest at a distance although my energy was draining but I had took some essentials in my backpack with me. I’ll survive this no matter what. I ran towards the forest with all my might and entered the forest without any second thought. I knew it was dangerous but not as dangerous as the mansion I managed to escape. After running for miles and miles I came across very large trees, I found the largest and biggest tree and climbed it carefully with the little girl in my arms now that I’ve adapted it wasn’t really hard at all. I wouldn’t be able to do half of the things I did since yesterday if I was still a human. Sighing I looked at the sleeping figure in my arms. ‘I have to get out of here safely before she wakes up'. I opened my bag and took out a bag of blood I did need energy to keep going. After looking at it for five minutes straight -unwillingly I drank it all, the burning sensation of my throat subsided and I hate to admit it but it felt nice. He made me like this and I can never forgive him for what he did to me. With strong resentment -I cursed him for straight two minutes and got down the tree and started running again. After running for days I could finally see a clearing, a wide road ahead of me and as if heavens were helping me for all the good deeds I’ve done when I was a human, I saw an empty car at the side although it was smashed on side it would work, I’ll make it work. I laid the small girl on the passenger seat and buckled her up. I don’t have much time before he catches up with me. I stepped on gas and drove of to where the road lead me. I crossed a very long bridge and drove for three days straight. We were living in the car for almost a week now and since the little girl had an enchanted bracelet around her wrist she was unconscious which was good for me at least her black magic will not attract unwanted attention of werewolves and vamps. I’ll remove that band once we are safe and sound. I spotted a cyber café and went in wearing goggles and a black cap, making my presence as unnoticeable as possible. I looked up for schools providing scholarship options on internet and an article caught my attention I opened the link and a small smile made it’s way on my lips. This place is totally unknown to me -it's new 'Will I be okay? Well it’s not like I have any other options.’ After weighing the pros and cons I made up my mind, 'You can do it, you have to do it.’ I registered myself for the program of Leven’s University and received an email saying the results will be out in two days. Let’s see if luck is at my side. I was a straight A student, my extracurricular activities is quite impressive too. Hope the heavens help me this time. I need to get out of this place soon or I’ll be dragged back again, thinking about that room had chills running down my spine. ‘No I’ll make things work this time.’ _Two days later_ I went back in the cyber café and sat on an empty spot. I really need to buy a cellphone, anxiously I signed in my email and checked through the mails I received from the Leven's University. I opened the mail and my eyes went wide with my mouth open in astonishment. “Hello Miss Scarlett Stanwood, We are glad to inform you that you have been selected for our Youth's scholarship program. The acceptance letter and details about the program have been attached in the email including the rules and regulations and other things. We hope to have you here in Leven’s University on Monday, sharp 9a.m., next week. We are looking forward for your arrival.” I did a little happy dance and clicked on the attachment, going through all the details. It was doable. I was on cloud nine. ‘I finally got accepted.’ Now I need to escape The states and go to this weird place I’ve never heard of 'Ceben, sounds nice but I’ve never even seen this place on the map.’ Next I did was the most logical thing I could do on the internet that is I googled 'Ceben'. The results showed a really beautiful place. I went through the Wikipedia of Ceben and found that it was ruled by a king and not a government which was insane, monarch system nowadays? I thought it was just UK doing these things. Crazy but okay, if vampires can exist and have a king then he is merely human, atleast it’s believable. Ceben was a really, really, very small place compared to The United States but it’s alright as long as I’m safe and sound with the little girl. I need to survive and I bet he will never be able to find me if I go here. Ceben will be safe. I assured myself and left the café and I need to settle a few things and plan a safest way out of the States and that’s probably the water way.
