It was now time to use my another change -more like a power. I went in a real estate agency and a man in his forties welcomed me, I sat across him and looked him in the eye -we stared each other in the eye and I could see his light blue eyes getting enchanted by my silver ones. I signed a really good deal by the money I stole from the mansion because why not? I need to survive. I don’t owe him anything he made me like this. I moved in with the little girl and looked around the two bedroom apartment in amazement it had a nice view and was closer to the school I was planning to go to. Even if I’m not a human anymore I’ll still live like one till I die -wait Can I die? I sighed and finally took off the bracelet from the little girl’s hand which kept her unconscious till now. I went to the kitchen and poured a glass of water and returned to her bedroom. I sat on the edge of the bed and patted her cheeks lightly to wake her up. Her eyes fluttered open and deep green eyes stared back at my grey ones. I smiled lightly “Hi, how are you feeling?”

She sat up slowly and looked at me for a minute straight before answering. “I feel alright but where am I?”

I handed her the glass of water, “Drink. We escaped successfully.” I smiled triumphantly at her and she stared back at me in shock. She drank the water, “Are we safe?”

I only smiled back at her like a fool.

“And that is how we escaped.” I finished telling my story of success and saw Nicole giving me her widest smile I’ve ever seen. Her baby blue eyes sparkled while looking at my grey ones.

“But what about him?”

The smile on my lips froze and stared at her with my full grey eyes. She was hinting about the mating bond, even a ten year old knows more about mates than I do. I sighed and gave a slight shrug. She looked at me and smiled,

“Will you be my big sister?”

Her question caught me off guard but nevertheless a smile found it’s way on my lips, “Sure. We are a family from now on.”

She nodded enthusiastically which made me chuckle. ‘I finally have a family now.’

“Well lil sis, do you wanna go shopping?” Nicole excitedly stood up on the bed, “Ofcourse. Yayyyy!”

_Leven’s University_

Scarlett walked in the hallway as her knee length Doc Martin clicked on the perfectly marbled floor, when a voice came from behind her.

“Scarlett Stanwood right?” Scarlett turned around to look at the source of the voice, a lady in her late twenties smiled at her. Hazel eyes, blonde hairs tied back in a high ponytail.

“Yeah, that’s me.” Scarlett back.

The last held out her hand, “I am Anna MacMartin. Nice to meet you.” Her accent told Scarlett she wasn’t a local here for sure. Scarlett already knew the accent of Ceben, she has been shopping and doing every necessary things for Nicole for the last two days and she was now quite familiar with the Cebenian accent but her accent sounded different. Chills went down her spine when a sudden thought of him Crossed her mind. ‘No he possibly can’t find me.’

“Miss Scarlett, I’m here to give you a tour of the campus and here is your schedule and a small map of the campus.” Scarlett took the schedule from Anna and gave it a quick read and looked up to Anna.

“Thank you very much but you don’t need to give me a tour.”

Anna gave her a small nod and smiled lightly, “Alright you can find me if you need anything or have any questions. See you around.”

Scarlett nodded with a blank look, “See you.”

She headed towards her Math class, as she was early most of the seats were vacant so she simply chose a seat at the back by the window and looked through her schedule and map. She looked out of the window and was lost in her own thoughts when she smelled a werewolf, her senses were very strong as a vampire and she went on her alert mode. A tall guy with dirty blonde hairs, honey brown eyes stated at her as she stared back at him with a blank expression. He took a seat at the front. Although he doesn’t seem to be a threat she was still very careful of her surroundings. She wanted to lay low and have a normal life although nothing in her life was normal anymore. Soon the math professor entered the class and the class started. She used to be straight A student and she wanted to keep it that way till the end.

“So that is it for today, Well I heard there was a-“ the professor looked at Scarlett right in the eye and she used compulsion on him as he froze for a moment, his eyes full of confusion, “What was I saying again?” he asked the students whereas the students were looking at the professor in confusion. The thing Scarlett hated the most were these introductions. She wanted to lay low and introduction wasn’t a very good start so the only option left was to use her powers.

The werewolf with dirty blonde hairs turned to look at her raising his left eyebrow at her which she responded with a careless shrug. He smirked at her.

“Alright, Dismiss!” The professor announced and the students hurried to their next class. Scarlett was the last one to leave so that less people notice her, she knew it’s not possible for no one to notice her but the least the better.

As she walked out of the class a voice came from behind her, “Well played, Vamp.”

She didn’t needed to turn around to know who the voice belonged to because she could smell the blonde werewolf guy clearly.

“Thanks.” She smirked to herself as went towards her next class without even turning back.
