Scarlett yelled while kicking on Vincent's door, "This is ridiculous. You jerk!"

Vincent didn't respond to her and Scarlett found it more annoying. Scarlett knew something was wrong ever since Vincent obediently left last night.

'So this was his plan all along.' Scarlett glares daggers at the door as if her gaze could burn a hole in the door.

Scarlett knew Vincent is going to drive her crazy and this was just the beginning.

Stomping her foot on the ground in frustration, Scarlett stromed off.

Scarlett walked down the streets aimlessly. She was already depressed at the thought of Vincent, he was now her neighbor and she was yet to discover what other things was he planning to do.

Scarlett's mind was messed up and she needed to relax and clear her thoughts. Scarlett knew Vincent would find her but it was sooner than expected, Ofcourse he found her soon because of that damned mate bond which gave him visions of her. The purpose of those visions was to only ensure and show her situation and safety to Vincent but Vincent being Vincent, he'd never let go of any opportunity. Vincent was a smart man although Scarlett almost outsmarted him at the beginning but he still reached her. But unexpectedly Vincent didn't drag her back to New York and it was surprising and odd for Scarlett. 'Only if that jerk did things according to how I predict them, I wouldn't have to be this anxious now!' Scarlett sighed and wondered about what Vincent was planning to do next. He didn't drag her back to New York but she knew she will never be able to avoid him again. Scarlett was clueless about what Vincent wanted now.

Scarlett suddenly looked up and found a Manga Cafe which looked quite nice and cozy. Scarlett walked in and saw the familiar posters of the manga she used to read since childhood. Manga has given her an escape from reality on the hardest days of her life and kept her company and busy until Scarlett could pull together to face reality again bravely with confidence and a new hope to live her life to the fullest despite the setbacks.

A warm smile made it's way to her face and her silver eyes sparkled when she came across the familiar books she once read and a sense of familiarity embraced Scarlett in the new and unknown place called Ceben.

Scarlett reached out her hand to grab the manga Death Note, but another hand grabbed it at the same time. Scarlett turned to look at the person -her silver eyes came across Jade green eyes with gold fleeks, Scarlett was astonished for a moment, the girl seemed to be froze for a moment observing Scarlett as Scarlett looked at her carefully after her senses that the girl is a half Vampire,

"Hey, I'm Iolana De Luca, Nice to meet you." the girl smiled brightly as Scarlett could the see the cute dimple which the girl got on her left cheek. Iolana was gorgeous with shoulder length Auburn hairs and a figure every girl dreams of,

"Hi, I'm Scarlett Stanford, Glad to meet you." Iolana retreated her hand as Scarlett took the manga.

"We both seem to have quite same interests." Iolana didn't have the Cebenian accent as Scarlett smiled,

"I think so too."

"Lemme ask you a question."

Scarlett nodded,

"Have you read, Tokyo Ghoul?"

Scarlett laughs at her question and nods,

"I think you are going to be my b***h!"

Iolana starts laughing,

"I reckon it." Iolana knew Scarlett was a vampire and Scarlett seemed to know it too. They both had this deep understanding without even saying a word about it, after all there were eyes and ears everywhere around them.

Scarlett accompanied Iolana till afternoon, talking about their favourite comics (manga), animes, etcetera. They both had lunch together at the comic cafe and Scarlett was about to leave for her evening classes.

"I had a nice time with you. Thank you."

Iolana smiled brightly at her.

"Let's keep in touch, See you soon."

"Sure." Scarlett knew what Iolana was talking about, it seemed Iolana was kept on watch by someone and they needed to talk about the Vampire thing aswell.

Scarlett wasn't nosy but Iolana made it obvious that she'd like Scarlett to hear her out.

Scarlett walked in the classroom and scanned the room quickly before she spotted her lousy teammate who left her all alone in the ball to deal with the airhead Athanasius. Scarlett stood in front of Ryder's desk as he looked up to her.

"Ryder Mike Whitestone." Scarlett's stone cold expression send chills down his spine as he stuttered.

"Scar.. Scarlett. Hey." he smiled sheepishly at Scarlett while he put his hands up on the air in a surrender gesture.

"Scarlett violence is not always a solution. We need to talk to sort problem. Violence is never an answer." Scarlett's eyes flashed red as Ryder gulped in fear.

"Speak." Scarlett's stern voice rang in his ears as he spoke in the speed of lightning.

"Ialmosttmetmymateandwentforher butlosthersodon'tbemad."

"Speak slowly." Scarlett rolled her eyes at him.

Ryder took in a deep breath and spoke.

"I almost met my mate."

Scarlett's eyes went wide as she gestured him to continue.

"I smelled her, I was following her scent, but somehow I lost her. I couldn't even see her but still I looked around everywhere. I don't know when I will get to meet her again." Disappointment was clear in Ryder's eyes with a flash of hurt. Ryder looked upset thinking about the other night as Scarlett patted his shoulder.

"Don't be upset, she is near, you'll get to meet her soon. After all you have the mate bond pulling both of you closer to each other."

Ryder nodded but couldn't help sulking when he suddenly remembered the rumors.

"You have a fiance?" Ryder asked in an unexpected way.

"Your mate found you?" Ryder knew about her story and he promised her he will do his best to keep her safe.

Scarlett nodded as her eyes suddenly went wide when his smell hit her.

"So you have actually told about me." Vincent's melodic voice rang in her ears as she turned around to look at Vincent standing in front of her looking at her with every ounce of affection. Ryder stood up as his mouth went wide.

"Vincent Von Stein?"

Vincent walked towards Scarlett as his intoxicating scent made Scarlett lose her sanity step by step.

"Long time no see, Ryder." He smiled brightly at Ryder as he turned towards Scarlett.

"What are you doing here?" Scarlett asked in a daze.

"Oh! I forgot to tell you this morning. I'm your new English Professor. Prof. Vincent Von Stein." Vincent smirked as Scarlett's mouth went wide as stood there baffled.
