18. Knowing the Truth Part II

I picked Mandy in her dormitory at 7 o'clock. She wasn't ready but I waited. I will wait for her no matter what. I also needed time to pick my confidence in telling her about my condition, the worst scenario that she would bail me out from her life. I had tried my best to reduce my ability but it was in vain. I needed to try harder to control my emotion and my ability.

As we arrived to the restaurant, she was pleased with the ambience of it. We were surrounded by the moon light as it was a full moon, we even did not need the lamp as it was really bright. The firefly was also added the excitement. The time that we arrived there was the perfectly time to see all the magnificent natural occurence. Well, I guessed her being late was giving a good result than what we thought.

The fettucine was served right after we sat down. She was a bit surprised that I ordered first without asking. I just wanted to treat her the best I could. The spot that I picked for our dinner was exclusive that we can chat freely but I chose to talk our problem in private after the waiter left us.

"Mandy, I have some important thing to talk."

"What is it? I need to talk to you too."

"You better prepared for the worst for my confession."

"You made me scared. What is it?"

"I just knew that my ability to suck blood is increasing not decreasing so that I might had hurt you during our make out. I am sorry, I never planned to end like this. I thought as I injected some virus to me, I would be totally sick and the power will be reduced. At first, it was working, but then it was not, I guessed my antibody is really good so that it can survive to the virus. I am really sorry." I held her hands and asked for forgiveness,

"Actually I also wanted to talk about this. I did not realize my condition too until Annie and Andy saw and asked me to do some physical check up. They said that I looked pale. Knowing the result made me feel that you were lying. It is clear now."

"I never want to hurt you."

"I believe you, that is why I want to discuss about it."

"I was being careless for not checking my power these last weeks. I should check more often."

"Do you suppose that I will leave you because of this?"

"Of course I do not want you to leave me but your health will always be the biggest thing that we are risking right now. I do not know what to do and I can not control myself if I am with you. You are so tempting, I can not control myself, I always want to kiss you, for now I can control it as we are in the public area, but later when we are at home, I really will run to you, to touch you, taste you and I really want to make you mine."

"We should try Jamie. It is worth to try. We need to control our emotion. Some of your emotion was also rush by me. I also eager to feel your touch and your kiss as much as you want me. Let us try our best."

"I am sure if none of my body inside you, I will not harm you."

"Then, we can try."

"So, you will not leave me darling?"

"Of course not, I can not bare the thought of losing you."

"Thank you, I have prepared for the worst decision that we will make actually. I am so glad that you still choose me. How I am so grateful to have you." I kissed her hand and held her in my brace. I am so blessed to have Mandy in my life.

We enjoyed the meal and kept discussing many things about our future. We both agreed to stand our emotion. Being in distant could help us to control emotion, so we will take time to be apart for certain time. More over, she will be busy by her assistant program in the next semester. 

We will spend time together during her holiday, I would visit her family in her hometown, I wanted to know more about her and her family. After that, we would be separated for a while.

I hope I can take my meditation and figure out a way to reduce my power. One thing for sure that this virus thing need to be reconsider as the way out.
