Claire Amanda Bradshaw's POV I finished my breakfast and head out for school. I went to the kitchen and hugged mom and bid her a bye. Oh by the way I am Claire Amanda Bradshaw , member of blood moon pack and 15 years soon turning 16. I walked to my school and saw Christie . "  Hey Christie " I shouted and she immediately turned. She walked upto me and we started talking . Christie Thompson is my best friend . We used to fight a lot in the start and soon became close friends when by freshmen year. " I don't want to attend class " Christie cried. " Come on Chris we have no choice , let's go " I said and dragged her with me. I went to my locker and picked up the books for the next class. Both of us sat in our benches and soon Aaron and Victoria entered. Victoria Thompson is the sister of Christie and total opposite of Christie. She is a complete b***h and I have no clue how Aaron liked her. " Here comes the b***h " I mutter. Christie heard me. " Come on Claire , she is my sister " she said. " Fine " I said. I don't like Victoria at all. She has a bad vibe around her. Aaron on the other hand is a very stern person. He is hot , charming and I guess madly in love with Victoria. I just hope Victoria is not Aaron's mate. I don't want a b***h to be luna. The class started. It was werewolf history and it's pretty much.... let's just say not good. The second class was math and it was so boring.  I just don't like this. Soon it was lunch time thank god. Me and christie took our food and sat on our cornor table. " Did you see Elliot? " Christie asks " Ya I did " I said sounding not at all interested. " Umm I like him " she said and I choked on my food. "What?" I blurted out. Christie and Elliot are like sworn enemies. They always argue and fight like dogs and cats. " I don't know I kinda find him hot " she said with a blush creeping up. Her cheeks. " Christie Thompson , how did that happen , didn't you like always despise him? " I asked  chewing my food. " Ya I did, but you know after summer break this year when I saw him. I just.... I just couldn't hate him. He looked so hot " she said shyly. " Aweee , that's so so sweet "  I said teasing her. She turned red by now. "You want me to set you guys up?" I asked her. I and Elliot are friends, nit very good friends but ya enough good to set them up. " Noooo , don't do that " she said. " Let's change the topic " she said and started to blabber about everything possible. After we finished our lunch we went to our respective classes. Christie went for political sciences and I went for geography. I bumped into someone on my way. I looked up  to see Victoria. Not now. Just not now. " How dare you bump into me " she said. I rolled my eyes and started to walk to my class. She pulled me by my arm and pushed me down. I will kill her Claire. Said my wolf zara . I was able to talk to my wolf from when I turned fourteen while usually people come in contact with their wolves when they turn sixteen. Chill zara .  I said trying to calm her down. I stood up and looked straight in her eyes. " f**k off " I said and moved passed her. I wasn't in a mood to right her. Christie is her sister and I don't want Christie to be pissed at me for this. For some absurd reason Christie thinks that her sister is very good and almost the whole school except few know how bitchy she is. She tries to sweet talk everyone . A total fake I must say. After classes I met Jake and we talked for a while. Jake is not from our pack. He seems sweet to me and is very decent. I return home after a long tiring day and smelled delicious food. Chloe Bradshaw my mom is not my birth mom and I know it but she treats me like her own. " Sweety go wash up and come down " she said as she heard me approaching the kitchen. " Can I have one bite? " I asked. She made lasagna and I am totally tempted. I try to take a bite with my hand and she hit my hand with the spatula she had. " First wash up , then eat " she said. Fine. I went back to my room and freshed up. After dinner I went back to my room for a good sleep. I thought dad would be their but he went patrolling. Find your mate fast Claire . I want to come out .  Zara said.  She's been telling me this from past two days . It's twelve in the night now.  It was my birthday today. Originally I thought my birthday two months before but when two years back my wolf showed up on a different date than my birthday then I got to know that it wasn't my birthday. I confronted mom and dad and they told me how I was found. I got to know how I was named. Suddenly I hear my mom shout and I jerk from my bed. " Clairreeee " she shouted at the top of her voice. I got super scared and ran down the stairs. And there were no lights. " Surprise " the lights turned on and all my friends and parents were their . " Happy birthday Claire " they all sang for me. There was christie , Sarah , Antonio and my mom and dad their. I was shocked that they arranged this for me. " Sarah , Antonia? You guys?" J asked surprisingly. Sarah was a very good friend of mine. When she found her mate Antonio she changed her pack. I missed her so much. I ran and hugged both of them. " I missed you guys so much " " Missed you too i***t " she said " Now cut the cake I am hungry " said christie. I blew the candles and made a wish to find my mate as soon as possible. " So what did you wish? " Sarah asked. "Not telling" I said . I cut the cake and Christie immediately took a huge bite of it . " Come on christie , you are 17 " I said. Everyone laughed and I hugged mom and dad. "Thank you both of you " I said. " Anything for you sweetheart " " I love you both so much " I said and smiled looking at them. We all sat and watched our old memories and photos and then Sarah me and Christie had a sleepover in my room. We watched one more movie and slept off. Next day was a Sunday and we woke up. Sarah left after sometime as she was given permission only for few hours and Christie had to go back to her house due to some emergency. She said she will be back anyways. I freshed up and went down for breakfast .  I changed into a black jean and a swollen top  .God , this lady cooks amazing food. Today on the occasion of my birthday she made tacos. Which I loved. I went out alone for sometime and roamed in the forest till I found my favorite place. There was a lake in the forest which was very calm and serene. It was very peaceful. I sat next to the lake and The moment I dipped my hand in water it felt so nice. I wish it could turn into ice I thought and continued waving my hand inside. And suddenly something unexpected happened. The water froze near my hand. What the hell??? I couldn't believe my eyes and I kept my hand in the other side of me. The water froze their too. What is happening Zara?? I ask my wolf. You like it? She asked me. Soon. The whole lake started to freeze even though I removed my hand out. Zara do something. I panicked. Calm down Claire . I did as she said. I didn't want the lake to freeze. please don't freeze. And soon the whole ice melted and the water started to heat up. Zara it's boiling now . I told her. Calm down and concentrate.she said. I took a deep breath and placed my hand on the lake and thought about serenity and soon the lake got back to normal. I was sweating by now. I pulled my hair back from my hair. s**t. What is happening. The grass beneath me is starting to freeze. "s**t s**t" .
