The following days were quiet. Terrell was recovered from his wounds, but he still wasn’t back to one-hundred-percent. The task of healing such an extensive wound and evasive surgery had taken a toll on him. He and Ava hadn’t emerged from their home since Terrell had left with her the morning after his surgery.
