Annie
The house was quiet, everyone was off doing their own thing and the babies were all asleep. Brody and Ethan had holed themselves up in Brody’s old bedroom playing a very intense game of Transformers attack. Annie made her way to Dru’s office. She loved how close it made her feel to him. His scent was heavy in there, and all the little touches he had in the office were comforting.
She had also found a frame so that she could frame the pictures she had with her and Ethan, and wanted to put it on Dru’s desk to surprise him. When she opened the door, his office landline was ringing. When she checked the caller id, she decided to answer it.
“Hello?”
The phone crackled, and then a deathly familiar voice stunned her.
