Luigi easily dodged and blocked all of my attacks even though I was pouring all my might and brain cells into recalling everything he taught me so far. I should add that putting theory into practice is one of many things I’m bad at. We’ve been sparring for almost half an hour, but I haven’t made any progress.
Aside from simply being bad at it, I was hesitating with every move I made. I’m both lacking self-confidence and worried that I might hurt Luigi whenever I strike. I know it was ridiculous because of the difference in our strength, but I didn’t exactly want to train to hit people. I wanted to learn to defend myself and my daughter.
