I was on edge the rest of the day. The guys were out making preparations for morning training afternoon training and evening training. Wanting to make sure everyone was able to attend at least one of the training sessions. Being away from them at a time like this felt wrong. I needed to be with them, helping them plan, but they insisted I needed to stay with Luna Hattie. I paced the floor, worrying about my mates. "Baby girl, please calm down. I can feel your anxiety from here." said Jayden through mind link. "We are fine. If it helps you to relax, one of us will mind link you every 30 minutes." I took a deep breath and tried to calm my nerves. Two hours later, Hayden Kayden and Jayden came through the door. Kayden reached me first, pulling me into an embrace and kissing my cheeks. Jayden grabbed me from behind and whispered in my ear, "See, I told you we were fine." Hayden snatched me away from the two older triplets and snuggled into my neck, breathing in my scent. "I hate being away from you." Hayden said before kissing my lips hungrily. "Sorry for the interruption, Alpha Hayden, Kayden, and Jayden, but lunch is ready." Said the head housekeeper Helga. She was an older she wolf with long brown hair graying at the temples golden tanned skin and green eyes. Her hair pulled into a tight bun. "Thanks, Helga." Said Jayden. We all gathered in the dining room for homemade pizza and salad bar. Lunch was delicious. We were all stuffed after eating. I retreated to my room for a much needed nap. I woke to the light disappearing behind the horizon. I slowly sat up. My mouth was dry. I got up to go get some water from the kitchen. As I'm walking down the stairs, I heard voices inside the head housekeepers room and heard my name. I stopped to listen in as my name was mentioned. "I mean, can you believe that little orphan nobody is destined to our Alphas! No, no, she has to go! They belong to Brittany Hillary and Rebecca." Said Helga. They were plotting my death. my heart skipped a bit. I slowly crept by their room and continued on my way to the kitchen. As I walked into the dining room, I saw Hayden Kayden and Jayden look up from what they were looking at with a smile. My face must have shown something because their faces fell. In a flash, six arms were around my waist. "Baby girl, what is it? What's happened?" Jayden asked. I took a deep breath and told them what I overheard. The triplets growled in unison. "Over my dead body." Said Kayden, storming out of the dining room with his brothers on his heels. I could hear the triplets confronting Helga, who tried to deny it, but I knew what I had heard. They dragged Helga to the dining room before me and threw her to her knees in front of me. "You mean to tell us that our future Luna is lying?" Hayden yelled, shaking the windows. "No, my Alpha, there was just a misunderstanding. I do not wish harm upon Zendrea, just that she wasn't fit to be Luna." "Not your decision, Helga." Boomed Jayden, "And since Zendrea has felt threatened, you no longer work in the pack house. You nor your staff is allowed to be within 200 feet of her. You are being demoted and will work as a maid in the betas house instead. Anything happens to her, and she is harmed in any way you and your followers will be punished tenfold. An eye for an eye, so to speak. Now get out of this house." The maid scurried out of the pack house crying. I could tell Hayden was mind linking someone. A few moments later, Zane appeared next to the triplets. "Zane, Helga has threatened the future Luna." Kayden said. Zane growled. "For now, she is being sent to your house to work as a maid. Make sure she's the lowest maid you have, and keep an eye on her. I don't trust her." Said Kayden "Yes, Alpha." Zane said before turning away and following Helga. "In the meantime, baby girl, is there someone you trust?" Asked Jayden. "Just Lindsey." I said softly. The triplets frowned, not liking the fact that I only had one person I could depend on outside of them. Kayden mind linked Lindsey to join us in the dining room. She entered the dining room, looking a bit confused. "Yes, Alphas?" said Lindsey with uncertainty. "You are being promoted to help protect Zendrea. There has been a threat made against her." Said Jayden. Lindsey growled. "I will protect her with my life Alphas." Lindsey turned to me and hugged me. "No one will ever hurt my best friend while I'm around." I smiled at her, feeling much better, knowing she had always had my back. "When we are not here, you will be. We don't want her left alone, so no one has a chance to harm her. However, is there anyone else that you can think of that could help with this? Someone you trust? Zendrea only trusts you, but we want others just in case." Lindsey frowned. "Unfortunately, Alphas, your ex-girlfriends made everyone hate Zendrea. I never understood why they targeted her until recently." "Why?" Asked Hayden. Lindsey turned and faced him. "Because of you three. Apparently, Kayden had said her name in his sleep one time, and Hayden, you accidentally called yours Zendrea. Jayden, yours read a poem you wrote about Zendrea." Jayden blushed. "You wrote a poem about me?" I asked. His blush deepened as he admitted that he had. "Can I hear it?" "Sure, when we are alone." I smiled adoringnly at Jayden. I was surprised since I never knew he wrote, let alone, wrote about me. Jayden was slowly becoming my favorite.
