I sat crossed legged on Jaydens bed, waiting impatiently for him to get done with a meeting with the Alpha and his brothers. I wanted to hear his poem. I still couldn't believe he wrote about me!! Me Zendrea little orphan nobody. I pinched myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming. Nope, it's definitely not a dream. Meep! I can't believe these three amazing guys were fated to me.
A short time later, Jayden came through the door. I looked at him. Just the mere sight of him makes my heart skip a beat. He really was a sight to behold. He smiled at me, checking him out.
"Now, where were we? Oh, right poem." He crossed the room and opened a drawer on his desk. I watched his every move, marveling at the grace with which he moved.
"Here it is." He said with a smile. He came and sat next to me on his bed, pulling me close to his side. He reached up, tucking a stray hair behind my ear. He took a deep breath as if he was nervous. I glance down and see Zendrea in his elegant handwriting. He clears his throat and begins to speak in a husky voice.
"Locks of fire, eyes of emerald green
You've captured my heart indefinitely
One look at you, and I just knew
I would always belong to you
You came quickly and by surprise
But I see my future reflecting in your eyes
You are mine chosen by fate
I just know you are my mate." He finished looking up at me for my reaction. I didn't realize a single tear had slipped down my cheek. He reached up and wiped it away with his thumb. I kissed him. At that moment, I put everything I was feeling into that one kiss.
"That was the most beautiful thing anyone has ever done for me," I said with a smile. I love it." Jayden's arms went around my waist as he pulled me into his chest.
"I'm glad you like it." He missed me tenderly and then took my hand.
"Come with me, and there is something I want to show you." He led me down the hall and up a flight of stairs on the back side of the pack house. I looked out at the mountains that graced our pack lands as we passed a window. We stopped outside a pair of huge double oak doors. This is the suit we designed for you. Suddenly, Hayden and Kayden were standing on either side of me while Jayden stood behind me. Hayden pushed open the double doors and grabbed my hand to pull me through the door. I gasped as we stepped into the most beautiful room I had ever seen. The far wall had a huge bed big enough to fit me and my Alphas comfortably. The bedding was my favorite colors. Black with beautiful purple paisley. there was another door to the left of the bed. the opposite side of the room houses the bathroom with a stand-up rain shower and a jetted tub in the corner.
Jayden said, "Come with me. You are going to want to see this." He led me through the door next to the bed, and once again, I was stunned as we stepped into a wonderful library. Floor to ceiling book shelves sat on either side of a comfy looking recliner. a small table sat next to the chair.
"We know you love to read, so we got just about every romance and true crime and mystery book we could find." Said Kayden. I smiled and went on my tiptoes to kiss him.
"I love it so much. Thank you for this." Hayden stood behind me, circling his arms around my middle.
"You are worth the effort and so much more." He said as he kissed my temple. I had never felt so loved and wanted as I did right now. These boys were everything I had always pictured in a mate and so much more. They were going to make amazing Alphas one day.
"Let's go for a walk." Said Kayden. I smiled and nodded my head.
We walked out of the back door of the pack house and entered the rose garden. I loved the garden here. fountains graced the middle of every corner rose you could think of. The sweet smell of roses filled the air. We got to the edge of the forest, and Jayden shifted. We all shifted after him and took off running in wolf form. I loved letting out my wolf and running. It was even better running with my mate. I glanced at Jayden's wolf in appreciation. His majestic black wolf Blaze gave me a wolf grin. I took in Hayden's wolf Blaine. His dark Grey fur blowing wildly in the wind as he ran. I next looked at Kaden's wolf. His black fur with a red star in the middle of his foread Ran with so much elegance it hurt. He was even more graceful in wolf form than human form, if that was even possible. I was beginning to think they were perfect at everything. Blaze laughed in my head.
"Pretty close." He said in a deep voice. I was shocked to actually hear Blaze. My wolf loved his voice, and he and I could feel all the love he had for both of us, too.
We made our way back to the pack house as the sun was dipping behind the trees. I was hungry, and my stomach growled emabrasinly. As we walked through the door, the amazing smell of steak and baked potato hit my nose. We entered the dining room where steak baked potatoes and a yummy looking side salad was being served. The smell made my mouth water and my stomach growl again. I was pretty sure everyone in the room heard that but was pretending they didn't. My suspicion was confirmed when I saw a small smile tug at the corner of Lindsey's mouth.
After dinner I went up to take a long soak in the jetted tub while the guys went to speak with the Alpha about patrols tonight.
