The Triplet Alphas and Their Gifted Luna

Chapter Nine

I sat fidgeting with my fingers. I wasn't sure why I was so nervous about telling them this. I took a deep breath.

"I want to promote Rosilinda to being my lady. She will only serve me. You wanted more people I trust. Well, I trust Rosilinda." I sat holding my breath, waiting for a response. I could see Kayden mindlinking someone. A short time later, Rosilinda walked into the door, looking nervous.

"Relax, Rosilinda, this is a good call. It would appear you have earned our Lunas trust, and she has taken a liking to you. Your days of hard work here are finished. You are promoted to Lady of the Luna. You answer to her and only her or us, of course, but you get what I mean." Rosilinda smiled. Her eyes lighting up.

"Yes, Alphas. Thank you."

"Don't thank us. Thank our Luna. It was her idea."

"Thank you so much, Luna." I smiled and told her she was dismissed for the day. She nodded and rushed out of the room. Hayden cleared his throat.

" Sorry to interrupt, but Luna, we need to get to the arena for training," He said with a smile.

"Right, yes, let's go." I said and grabbed his hand, pulling him behind me. I could hear his brother's laughter from behind us. It must have been a sight to see my small 4'11 self pulling my 6ft2in mate behind me.

We stood in the middle of the Arena as the rest of the pack who was in this training filed in.

"Today, we will run the obstacle course." Hayden said. "Let's head out."

I positioned myself to start the run. When told to I started off. I went under the barbedwire ahead of the others and up the wall. I flipped off the top, landing on my feet and grabbed the rope, and swung myself over the huge mud pit. I reached the kill zone and spun to dodge a spear. I jumped and flipped over the spikes and twirled around the arrow. I finished the course in record time. The rest of my pack, including my mate, stood in shock. To be honest, I was a little offended that my mate seemed to think so little of me.

Hayden stood at my side while we waited for the rest of the pack to finish the course. I could read his thoughts as he stood next to me and blushed at the things he was thinking.

(My mate is sexy as hell kicking ass and taking names. The things I want to do when we get back.) he thought. He knew I could hear him, so he started thinking of different positions to put me in.I could feel my core get wet, and I excused myself before everyone could smell my arousal. I could not believe he would do that on purpose! He was so going to pay for that.

On the way back, I thought of all the ways I could tease Hayden but then not give him any. I laughed to myself as I thought about it.

When I got back, Rosilinda met me at the door with a towel and bottle of water. Her eyes darted behind me, and I saw a flash of pain in her eyes. I looked over my shoulder and saw her ex mate laughing with some of his friends as a she wolf named Bella clung to his arm. He looked in our direction and froze. He walked past us and stopped next to me.

"Good afternoon, Luna Zendrea, Rosilinda."

I took this opportunity to make it known of Rosilinda's new status.

"Hello, Jordan. Have you met My Lady Rosilinda?" He smiled tightly but nodded in her direction. One of his friends stepped forward and took Rosilindas hand.

"Well, hello, beautiful. My name is Jared." Jordan growled next to him. The girl next to him frowned. Jared turned to his friend.

"Dude, what's your problem? She's gorgeous."

"She's my mate."

"Actually, dude. She's my mate."

"No!" Jordan shouted now standing toe to toe with Jared, who stood half a foot taller and already knew from training was on his way to being head warrior.

"She was mind first!" I cleared my throat to regain their attention.

"So Jared is her second chance, mate!!! I squealed."

"Over my dead body." Jordan shouted. I laughed at his tantrum

"And what does the big bad wolf plan to do about it. You're the half wit who rejected her." I said, feeling my anger for this guy rise. He grabbed me by the arm at the same time all three of my mates stepped out the door growling in unison but before anyone else could react Jordan flew across the yard as Jared stepped protectively in front of me.

"You will not hurt nor touch my Luna again. As for my mate, stay the hell away from her Jordan. You rejected the beautiful person, and the moon goddess has now blessed her to me, and I don't plan to make that same mistake. Touch either my mate or my Luna, and you will be picking your ass up out of every tree I can find. Got it!"

Jayden Hayden and Kayden now joined the protective line next to Jared. All four crossed their arms, daring Jordan to make a move. Jordan and Bella scampered away. My mates turned to Jared, shaking his hand.

"Thank you for protecting our Luna," Jayden said. I would like you to be her protective detail. There was recently a threat made to her life, and we want anyone she trusts to stand on her guard. Jared nodded, excepting the responsibility, then turned to Rosilinda, who stood wide-eyed. He closed the distance between them.

"Rosie I know what that jerk did. I know he hurt you, but I will never ever reject you. I will spend my the rest of my life making you happy if you give me that chance. I will spend every day making sure you know how special you are." Rosilinda smiled up at him.

" So, you want me? You don't want to reject me to?" He brushed her cheek and kissed her nose.

"I want every part of you." She squealed and wrapped her arms around his waist. He smiled and pulled her into him, kissing the top of her head.

"Mi amor, you are beautiful. Don't you forget it." Jared said. Rosilinda blushed.

"Shall we go eat now?" Kayden said with a smile. I'm hungry.

"Pshhh. You're always hungry." laughed Jayden as we all headed into the pack house.

We all gathered around the table in the dining room as the kitchen staff brought out homemade pizzas and pastas and salad. Desert was strawberry short cake and butter pecan ice cream, my favorite. Everything was so good. After we all ate until we were stuffed, we all sat around the den and watched "Phantom of the Opera" As Rosilinda requested it. The perfect end to a great day. I sighed and rested my head on Kaydens shoulder while holding Jaydens hand. Hayden sat at my feet, rubbing them.
