Chapter Ten

I woke as strong arms wrapped around me, cradling me to his chest. The scent of chocolate and coffee filled my nose. I could tell it was Jayden. He carried me to our room and gently put me on the bed. Hayden slid into the bed next to me. Kayden crawled in on my other side. Jayden slid in next to Kayden. Kayden whispered in my ear.
" I love you, Luna. Good night."
"I love you too. Good night." My heart soared. Though we were mates, that was the first I love you said out loud. Though I've loved all three of them since we were kids. I was always in awe of them. When my parents died and as I got older when I thought they didn't like me, I would admire their grace from afar. Being able to love them openly was a new kind of high for me. Kaydens scent enveloped me, luring me back to sleep. I snuggled deeper into his chest while wrapping my arm around Kayden. It was so warm here with them.
I woke to a blinding light. The bed was cold with my mates not there. Wait! Where were my mates!
"Breath baby girl. We are fine just doing a perimeter run real quick. I'll explain when we get back," Jayden said through mindlink. I calmed a little because I knew they were okay, but I also knew if all three of them were on the perimeter run, then something had happened that required all three of them. As that thought crossed my mind, I became more worried for my pack as well as my mates.
I climbed out of bed and quickly dressed in black leggings, black tank top, and tennishoes. I needed to go and see that my pack was okay while my mates were busy. As I stepped out of the pack house right in front of me was a wolf I'd never seen before. He changed to his human form.
"Forgive me for the intrusion. I need to speak with the triplets. I have to warn them." I mind linked my mated and heard a growl through mind link from Kayden.
" We are coming."
"If you wait a moment, they will be hear shortly." He seemed nervous. He also looked weak. I took in his appearance for the first time.
" Can I get you anything?"
"No, I just need to speak with them." At that moment my mates walked out of the woods and stood protectively next to me.
" Forgive me for coming unannounced, but this couldn't wait. Red dawn pack has joined forces with Midnight Moon pack and is planning to attack tomorrow night at dusk."
" And you know this how?" Jayden asked.
" I am a servant. A lowly omega in the Alphas house. He will kill me if he knows I'm telling you this, but I wanted to help before I go rouge. The Alpha of Midnight Moon is an evil man, and I just can't be a part of a pack where I don't respect the leadership."
"You can join our pack. We will put in the paperwork"
" I thank you, Alpha, but as I said, I'm an omega. I don't have much to offer."
" We accept loyalty here. " He lowered his head in submission
" I Alexander Nobelman, hereby proclaim my loyalty to Alpha Jayden, Alpha Kayden, and Alpha Hayden."
"We accept your propsal," the triplets said in unison. I smiled proudly at my mates. They were going to make great Alphas when they finally take over the pack from Alpha Dom.
"Please have dinner here at the pack house while we work out where you will best be suited."
"Yes, Alpha. By the way, my name is Chandlier. "
"Tell us more about yourself, Chandlier?" Hayden said.
" My father was the Gamma of our pack up until he was murdered by rogues. My mother was a healer, but she died during child birth to me." I frowned.
"So really, you're not an omega. They just gave that title for being an orphan."
"Correct. I am actually an excellent fighter as well as inherting my mother's healing ability."
"Well you will start trading with our warriors immediately then. You can join the next training with Kayden. I will also get you set up for further teaching from our packs healer," said Jayden.
"Thank you, Alpha Jayden."
" Of course. On behalf of all werewolves, we are sorry you were treated so badly in your pack. We will file the transfer first thing in the morning."
Zane rushed into the room look troubled.
"Alpha Jayden, Kayden, Hayden. We picked up a new scent trail. They are circling around Luna Zendreas' old house." A menacing growl left my mates lips.
"I'm not liking how far they were able to come into our lands barley detected."
"Yes," said Chandlier. " They have inside help though I do not know who your traitor is. Just know you have one. I do know she used to date one of you. Though I never heard which one she has dated." Kayden frowned.
" Zane, bring Brittany Rebecca and Hillary to us now. We will get to the bottom of who betrayed us." I gasped. Betrayl, such as this, only ends one way. Death for the traitor was inevitable.
"Jared, please prepare the soundproof cell. Things are about to get ugly."
" Yes, Alpha. Right away." I placed a hand on Jaydens arm
" Let me read their mind. We don't have to hurt them."
" No, we need your ability to stay hidden for now. I don't trust them. I need them to tell me which one it is." I frowned, not liking the idea of hurting another regardless of the pain they inflicted on me.Jayden took my face in his hands, " Babygirl if Ai thought there was another way I'd do it, but I see no other options."
" I understand. I just wish there was a different way to get what we want. Not all of them are guilty, but they will all suffer just the same." Jayden nodded.
" Unfortunately," Kayden said.
