He Will Be Mine

Tobias's P.O.V.

Today Dustin is being discharged from the hospital and moving in with me. I'm overly excited to have him live with me, but of course my parents had to ruin it by saying that he had to sleep in the guest room.

I mean I'm partially trustworthy and I can probably keep from taking him for a day or two, so why don't they trust me?

That probably sounded bad but when you're in the same house as my angel you'll want to have him to yourself all the time. Apparently that did not change my parents minds.

So now I'm currently picking up all of Dustin's stuff since his father isn't home. I'm glad he isn't here, I don't feel like murdering a defenseless human because he was stupid.

When I was done getting Dustin's clothes and his 'secret' stuffed bunny, I put the stuff in my car and go up to the hospital. He thinks I don't know about the bunny but I know because one night he slept over at my house and I saw him sleeping with it.

It was so adorable that I had to take a picture. He even slipped up once while he was asleep and whispered her name. It was Sophie, if that isn't cute then I don't know what is.

I made it to the hospital rather quickly and Dustin was waiting on the edge of the bed looking ready to jump out of the window any minute. I chuckled at that. Dustin must have heard me because after I laughed he looked up and smiled brightly before enveloping me in a hug.

His tiny arms wrapped around my waist made me smile more. If only we could do more than this. I love Dustin and I know if he'd just see it he would love me just as much as I love him.

"What's wrong Tobias." Dustin asked with a slight pout on his small pink lips. He always worried about me even though he knows I won't let anything happen to me. I smiled at that thought and hugged Dustin tighter to me.

"Nothing Dustin, I'm just happy you're okay. How are you feeling?" I asked trying to get his mind off of me. Wow never thought I'd want that. "I'm fine Toby I'm just ready to leave." He replied sighing.

I smiled as we walked out the room together. Dustin seemed overjoyed to be out now and I'm sure I'd be the same way. I wonder if he wants to go out today, I know being cooped up in one room for two weeks can make a person go crazy.

"So Dustin do you want to go somewhere today? I'm sure you don't want to just go home and sit there after sitting in the hospital for so long." I asked hopefully. It's the closest thing I can get to a date with this adorable neko.

Dustin smiled and nodded his head vigorously making me laugh. "Okay what should we do then?" Dustin looked down and thought for a moment before his head popped up and he asked animatedly, "Can we go to the zoo!?" I chuckled as he jumped up and down chanting please over and over again.

I could never say no to my kitten plus it's Saturday so we can stay out pretty late. "Of course we can Dustin." I said and immediately he squealed pulling me to the car saying that I move too slow. I laughed and slowed down even more seeing Dustin struggling to pull me was hilarious.

"Come on! You're doing this on purpose, why do you do this to me?" He whined dramatically making me walk slower and slower until we came to a stop. Dustin continued to pull -or attempt to pull- me to the car and I just stood there laughing.

"Come on Toby this isn't funny." He whined more but I just continued to laugh. He puffed out his cheeks and pouted at me, and let me tell you this it was freaking adorable. I awed at him and squeezed his face in my hands.

"I'll walk faster on one condition." I said and Dustin immediately started asking what the condition was excited to get to the zoo. He loves seeing the penguins and turtles. "You have to let me carry you to the car and through the zoo." I said simply, smiling as Dustin pouted more. For some odd reason he never lets me carry him even if he's hurt.

Now I have a chance to show everyone that this beautiful boy is mine. "Fine but you also have to get me ice cream." He said challengingly. I was about to agree when lo and behold Michael just shows up out of nowhere. "Me too." He said cheekily while wrapping his arm around Dustin's shoulder.

I hissed under my breath before snatching Dustin into my arms. "Actually Dustin and I are going to hang out together like old times. Right Dustin?" I asked hopefully he misses our time as much as I do. He looked at the both of us before nodding, most likely to himself.

"Yeah I never get to hang out with just Toby so I think it's best if you don't go Michael." I laugh internally as Michael looked like a kicked puppy after hearing Dustin openly reject hanging out with him. "Oh, that's fine we can just hang out tomorrow then right?" He asked hopefully and sadly I couldn't help but feel bad for him.

I mean Dustin is supposedly his mate so I'm sure he wants to be around him as much as possible but I also know that his moon goddess or whatever would just give him a new one if he was rejected. She's a pretty cool lady, so I won't feel bad for him when I get my kitten all to myself.

"Um, I'll think about it Michael I hardly ever spent any time with Toby so maybe next weekend." He said and I was jumping for joy inside when he said it. My kitten is finally picking me! I am going to make sure that no matter what Dustin will be mine and mine alone.
