Blurb

Lyra stood at the foot of the dais, her bottom lip quivered as she curtsyed. Out the corner of her eye, she could see her father rising from his bow. "King Demetri of the Dragons," He began, and Lyra lifted her head but kept her gaze lowered, "I have brought my daughter here on her eighteenth name day as promised." Demetri's taloned hand raised and the king of the fae realm stopped talking, "Has she bled?" His gravelly voice glowered.the fae king nodded, his silvery hair falling around his shoulders with the movement. "Yes," his eyes darted nervously around the room."If you're attempting to deceive me," Demitri leant forward, "You will regret it, as will your whole kingdom." he hissed. his dark eyes glowed yellow. He looked the fae princess up and down, the slick clinging fabric of the gown she wore showed off her relatively new womanly body. She had seemingly well-rounded heavy breasts and thick hips. Her full pink lips trembled, bringing a smirk across his usually stone cold expression. She would do nicely. Very nicely.

King Demetri
"You may leave," Demetri turned his gaze back to the Fae king, who began to stutter. "b..but, your grace, Th...There is the customary ceremony to be had." He attempted to hold his ground. "Ah, well as the Princess is marrying into my bloodline, my traditions will be the ones observed." his fangs gleamed in the candlelight. "As you wish," the fae king bowed again before leaving his only daughter in the hands of a dragon. As her father back out of the throne room, thick streams of diamond like tears ran down her perfectly smooth and innocent face. "You are a beauty," Demetri stood and ran a talon across her cheek, whispering against her skin and collecting a tear. He licked it off with his forked tongue, laughing at Lyra's wide-eyed shock. "Do you talk?" He teased. "Yes, your grace." Lyra's voice broke. "Well, I'll have you prepared and will meet you in the chapel as soon as possible." He waved over a female dragon shifter with black and violet scales. The female shifter led Lyra through the carved mountain corridors past many doors before stopping at a seemingly specific one. inside, she was stripped of her fae clothes and bathed. The shifter brushed out her braided ash blonde hair and wiped her down with a lilac scented towel. "What am I too wear?" Lyra asked when the shifter tried to lead her off through another passage, still naked. "The ceremony requires no clothing." was all the shifter said before ushering Lyra up a flight of stairs. The passage eventually opened up into a giant bed chamber where another, this time male, shifter stood at the end of an enormous bed. By the size of the bed, Lyra guessed it might have been the kings. the shifter beckoned her, so she stepped towards him and the female left. "You will soon become blood of the Dragon and will leave behind your fae ways, do you understand?" This shifters voice was old but kind. Still, Lyra was naked and ashamed. She blushed and nodded, her arms crossed over her chest. "Your grace," the kind shifter bowed, and Demetri strolled smoothly from the shadow of a doorway. "You shouldn't cover yourself," the request was passive. Lyra let her arms fall limply to her sides. "Better," Demetri nodded before taking her hand. She moved to pull her hand back, but he held it firmly. As she stared down at his tough scaled skin enveloping her trembling fingers. He turned her hand over, facing her palm up to the ceiling. A jewelled Ruby knife came into her narrowed view. The blade whispered against her pink skin, and a small crimson river began to flow down her wrist. Demetri ran the blade, much more roughly to penetrate his armour like scales, across his own palm, too. he held her hand over his, letting the blood drip down onto his opened flesh. Then he held his hand above hers, his dark, almost black blood mingled with hers. "Two have now become one," the kind shifter backed from the room respectfully. As Lyra stood there bare before her new husband, she realised she would possibly never see the sunlight again. the natural warmth against her skin, she'd never see her family, her people. She was doomed to be surrounded by scaled monsters till the day she died. a stream of tears began to fall, running down her cheeks and splashing almost silently on her chest. The clear tears looked like diamonds adorning her naked body in the dim candle light. "My queen, what ails you?" Demetri's gruff voice softened, just the tiniest bit. "What ails me!?" she let out an angered bark, "I've been sold to a monster to live beneath rock! I was born of the earth and sky and I will never become familiar enough with you to be civil let alone love you!" Her voice came out thick and strangled no matter how strong she tried to be. "No one said anything of love," Demetri glowered, "But I will make you want me." Lyra shook her head in disbelief. "Oh yes, my little fae, you I will make you beg me for knot and I will make you tremble with lust before I give it to you." "It's going to take quite a while," Lyra sniffed coldly.
