It’s been a little over a month since Marina died, leaving a hole in all of us, but mostly Kai. He has officially been sworn in, though he fought us every step of the way. He still thinks she’s alive, but each day that passes without her tells me she’s not. She’s never coming back, and one day he’ll realize that.
For now, my parents have been helping him with his duties and teaching him how to be the Alpha.
Our borders are back up, but Kinia is in the ocean near us for the time being. It’s sharing a border with us, which is nice. We managed to secure it in place next to us while Lia worked on creating magic to bring it back up.
