The Unforgivable Husband

Chapter 2

The bald Olivia returned to her cell block and attracted much attention as soon as she walked in confidently.

“Who the hell is that? What gave her the courage to shave her head?”

“When did this woman get sent here?”

Olivia heard the whispers but she sat down on an empty seat as if she had not heard anything.

As soon as Olivia sat down, several inmates began to gather around her.

“Hey, I was looking for you and you went to shave your f*****g head!”

“b***h, you haven’t done what Gina wanted you to do.” It was the same people who had ganged up against Olivia in the morning.

“I told you that I can’t bring that stuff in. Even Gina couldn’t get it in, so how could I?” Olivia said calmly.

Slap...

The person closest to Olivia slapped her without any warning.

“Speak only when spoken to!”

Olivia stood up calmly and said firmly, “Let me repeat. I can’t get what she wants.”

“Holy s**t! How dare you refuse Gina! Teach this b***h a lesson!”

Olivia tried to leave but someone grabbed her arm.

She immediately grabbed the person’s wrist and then swung her other elbow into that person’s chin.

Wham!

The swift counterattack shocked everyone present. Except for the one writhing in pain on the ground, the rest looked on in bewilderment and total disbelief.

When they came to their senses, Olivia had already walked out of the common area.

Gina had already gotten the news and was standing at the entrance of her cell waiting for her.

Gina crossed her arms, looked at Olivia, and said provocatively, “I heard that you are very tough today, huh?”

Olivia approached her cell and said politely, “Gina, I can’t do what you asked for. I can’t get any m*******a in.”

The onlookers gasped when they heard the word “m*******a”.

Gina chuckled and then lifted her foot to kick off something on a side bunk. She did it to distract Olivia and the next moment, she swiveled around and grabbed Olivia in a chokehold with one arm.

Olivia felt her neck being squeezed and struggled to breathe.

Mmph...

She could barely grunt and was beginning to black out. She tried her best to break out of Gina’s chokehold but was violented yanked backward.

Gina came up to her ear and threatened calmly, “Olivia, are you tired of living?”

“I...I...” Olivia could not say a few words, let alone a complete sentence. In her final effort to get Gina to release her grip, she dug her nails into Gina’s arm and then ruthlessly clawed the length of her forearm. Gina screamed in pain and released her.

Olivia collapsed onto the ground and held her neck as she gasped desperately for air. Cough...cough...

“So, Denise was right. You grew some balls. How dare you lay your filthy hands on me?”

Olivia rubbed her neck with one hand and slowly lifted her head. “I’ll get my sentence extended if I’m found smuggling m*******a into the prison!” Olivia said angrily.

“Why else would I keep a loser like you?” Gina snickered, bent down, and patted Olivia’s face firmly. “I’ll give you three more days, or the two little bastards you’re raising outside will be in trouble.”

Gina’s threats to Olivia’s children immediately triggered her maternal instincts. She sprung up and then slapped Gina. Before Gina could react, Olivia pounced on her, pinned her down with her body, and began to choke her neck in return.

Olivia looked at Gina struggling for air and said with a smile, “Listen, I can’t give you what you want. Oh, I’ll kill you if you dare to touch any of my children!”

The sudden turning of the tables stunned everyone who just looked on with their eyes and mouths wide open.

When she noticed that Denise and the others were about to rush over, Olivia said loudly, “Don’t move! Take another step and I will choke her to death right now!”

Just as everyone thought that she had the upper hand, Gina managed to kick Olivia’s back with her heel, and Olivia fell over in pain.

As she fell, she rolled toward the corner of her cell and grabbed a toothbrush she had placed in the corner. She then thrust the sharpened end into Gina’s arm. She then pulled it out in preparation for another stab. As soon as the toothbrush was pulled out, fresh blood squirted from the deep hole and sprayed onto the wall.

“Ah! You b***h!” Gina screamed in pain.

Olivia had once again swiftly countered Gina’s moves and even drew blood in the fight.

“What the hell!” The onlookers gasped in unison.

Olivia grabbed Gina’s neck in a chokehold and then pressed the bloodied toothbrush tip against Gina’s carotid aorta.

“Olivia, calm down! Let’s talk!” Gina panicked and whimpered. “Forget about the m*******a! I’m not forcing you anymore and I’ll never touch your babies!”

Olivia scoffed when she heard Gina quivering submissively. She looked at the others and said coldly, “I won’t pursue what happened in the past. If anyone dares to disrespect me again in the future, then be prepared to die!”

After saying that, she pushed Gina forward and kicked her in the a*s. “Get out!”

What Olivia did in this fight was told and retold across the entire penitentiary and she quickly became feared by every inmate and no one dared to mess with her!

Her time in prison became much more bearable and those who once bullied her now avoided her like a frightened mouse.

As she was planning her early release, she suddenly was informed that her mother had passed away and Elena helped to secure a furlough for the funeral.

When Olivia walked out of the prison, she suddenly realized that she had been there for 12 years. She did not even have the chance to see her mother before she died. She had wasted the best years of her life in prison all because of her love for a man. The same man was now having fun with other women and even abandoned their children. She clenched her fists and swore that she would get her revenge.

Olivia immediately took a taxi to Aiden’s place.

Olivia entered a lavishly decorated villa. The ground floor was empty, but she heard some voices coming from the second floor.

Olivia rushed up silently and opened the door of the master bedroom without hesitation.

She then saw the man, who she once loved and sacrificed for, in bed with a blonde woman.

“Aiden Porter!” Olivia said sternly as her heart sank into an abyss.

Although she did not doubt Elena, part of her did not want to believe it and was holding onto hopes that Aiden would not betray her. However, reality finally sunk in when she saw them in bed together.

The image of the man she loved in bed with another woman was shocking and traumatizing, considering what she had done for him.

“Olivia! How did you get out of jail?” Aiden looked like he had seen a ghost.

“Where are the kids?” Olivia clenched her fists until her nails dug into her palm and forced herself to calm down.

Aiden replied uneasily, “The nanny took them out to play!”

Olivia took several steps forward menacingly, looked at the n***d woman, and sneered, “Aiden, is this how you wait for me at home with the kids? Is this how you keep your promises?”

Aiden realized that no explanation would benefit him. Thus, he said, “Ha! You deserved all this! You were the one who willingly confessed and went to prison. I didn’t force you, did I?” Aiden continued, “Besides, why should I wait for you someone like you?”

Aiden wrapped his arm around the blonde woman, looked at the frail Olivia from head to toe, and said with an evil grin, “Which man would give up this voluptuous and sexy woman for a hag like you?”

Aiden’s words pierced deep into her heart like a dagger.

Olivia fought back her tears and asked again, “Where’re the kids?”

As Aiden struggled to answer, the nanny heard the commotion and went upstairs to see what was happening.

Olivia turned around and demanded coldly. “Where are my children?”

The nanny replied, “They were taken to Child Welfare Services!”

Olivia was so stunned that she stumbled several steps back and looked at Aiden incredulously.

“The Child Welfare Services is full of children. It’s good for them to play with other kids.”

Olivia could no longer hold back her anger. She rushed forward, slapped him with all her strength, slammed the door, and left.

Following the address given by the nanny, Olivia arrived at Angel Child Welfare Services. Just as she walked into the courtyard, she recognized her child who was being bullied!

Olivia rushed forward and picked up her little girl, Nina, and her son, Reese, both of whom were so malnourished that they were reduced to skin and bones.

Nina was wearing a torn and tattered dress. Her hands were bruised and battered. She was just pushed to the ground and her knees were bleeding.

Olivia hastily took out some paper napkins from her pocket and gently wiped the blood from her knee. Reese looked on with his collar torn and his clothes in a mess. Reese wiped his face in silence and the blood was smeared across his face. What broke Olivia’s heart was they did not seem to recognize her.

Olivia fought back her tears as she carefully wiped the blood off Reese’s face and said, “It’s okay my baby, Mommy’s here. You will no longer be bullied.” Olivia hugged her two kids tightly and swore to start her revenge plan.
