Violet continuously tapped her fingers on the steering wheel as she drives on the empty road. Since the first day she started to be an Alpha, she seldom felt anxious since she needed to be focus, calm and fearless in leading her entire pack. But as of now, it feels like she can't acquire those as she thought about how she would approached the person who consumed her mind all day.
She knew that she was able to talk to her confidently in the past few days although her mind and inner wolf was screaming inside when interacting with Skye. But now she seems to think that she will embarrass himself in front of her.
Violet sighed for a ninth time and glanced at the packed foods that were placed on the passenger seat. Just a while ago she thought of ordering foods for lunch on her favorite restaurant in town center. She wanted to have lunch with Maddison, Levi and Skye, as an excused to talk to the latter.
When she reached the corner street of their residence she turned left. She maneuvered her red Ram 1500 pick up truck on the hump. And it only took her a minute or two before she finally arrived at Skye's home. She carefully parked her car in front of their yard.
The house looks nice and cozy but it looks like a haunted house the way she anxiously stared at it. She knew that Levi surely heard her arrival so it gave them a heads up.
She took a deep breath and checked her self in the rearview mirror. She opted for a simple look today. No make up actually, just a lip gloss. She wore a white v-neck fitted tshirt tucked in her dark jeans and paired with white sneakers.
She raised the shades she's wearing and placed in the top of her head. She stared intently at herself at the mirror and mentally encouraged her innerwolf that they can do this.
After a minute or so, she opened her car door and got out. Closing it before she walked to the other side. She took the plastic bags of take out foods in the passenger seat. She carefully held them one by one on her hands making sure nothing will got spilled and she closed the car's door afterwards.
The time she stepped in their yard, their front door opened and Levi appears. It only took a few seconds when Maddison came after him.
She tried to walked confidently despite of their curious stares and she knew she did well. When she reached them, she pursed her lips and subtly cleared her throat.
"Good morning." She greeted with a less cold voice while trying not to gave them a smile cause she knew it would turned out to be an awkward one.
"How is she?" She asked immediately afterwards to Maddison who was still looking at her questioningly.
"Um. She's still sleeping." Maddison replied and it made Violet frowned a little.
"I assumed she haven't eaten yet?"
"No." Levi was the one who answered and Violet turned to him. "We tried to call her for breakfast earlier but we don't want to disturb her sleep." He added.
Violet paused for a second and sighed. "I brought her some food." She said raising the plastic bags a little to show them. She saw a glimpse of Maddison smile before it quickly gone. "I brought a lot so you can have your lunch too."
"...if you want." She added right away, and she knew she seems to be awkward. She gave the foods to them and Levi took it all.
"Come in." Levi nod his head and gave her a pursed smile before he walked in.
"I'm glad you came." She faced Maddison and the woman was smiling brightly at her. Her face looks like she didn't have enough sleep. It's definitely from worrying about her sister.
Violet wanted to say something to her but Maddison added. "Come in."
The woman walked inside and she followed her while silently wishing that this idea of her would turned out to be great. She have no choice, she needed to do this. Although she's not sure if would work but she's hoping against hope that it will be.
