Skye softly groaned when a nonstop ringing of her phone woke her up. She just ignored it and turned to the other side. She knew it's already late in the morning but she didn't feel like getting up. She's still sleepy and tired even though she's just been sleeping all day long yesterday. The ringing stop and she was thankful. But it was just for a seconds of peace when it rang again. Although unwilling to do, she grab it from the nightstand and opened her eyes. She was gonna turned it to silent mode when she read the caller's Id. It was Vanessa, who kept calling her several times yesterday. Skye grasp her phone a little harder as she stared at her phone screen. She really wanted to ignore it and go back to sleep but she knew Vanessa also has stubbornness in her so she answered it. "Hello." She muttered, her voice was a little hoarse. "....hey. You finally answered my call. I started to think you're ignoring me." Vanessa chuckled from the other line. "I'm sorry, Van. Umm... I'm just not feeling well." Skye reasoned out. "Why? Are you sick? I'm sorry I didn't know. How's your feeling right now?" Worries was obvious in Vanessa voice and Skye immediately felt guilty. Her friend was worrying about her but all she did was ignoring her calls and messages. "No, I'm not sick. I'm just..." Skye paused for a moment. She thought of what will she say. There's an urge to tell her the truth but she didn't like others to get involved in her problems. "I'm just not feeling well." She continued. There was silence from the other line for a few seconds before Vanessa speaks again. "Oh. Maybe you enjoyed the party so much that you got tired." "Yeah." Skye's short reply as her mind trying to ignore the moments she had on that party. "Do you have plans for today? Piper and I wanted to eat lunch at the center and we want to invite you to come with us. It will be just the three of us. The boys are out." On the other line, Vanessa was hoping that Skye would say yes. Originally, she wanted to have lunch with her, just the two of them. But to avoid Dean's sharp eyes watching what she was doing, she invited Piper. And the latter gladly agreed right away. She was happy that Seamus will not go with them. Skye sighed. She wanted to go with them actually. They were a good company, especially Piper. But she thought she will just ruined the mood, and she has no appetite too. "I'm sorry, Van. I think I can't for now. I'm still tired. " Skye nicely declined her invite. "But I will come next time I promise. I'll treat you guys." she added. "Is that so? Well if you want, we could just have some take out, then we will eat there in your house instead. What did you think?" Vanessa suggested. Skye didn't know what to say. She can't think of a better reason. Maybe she should just say yes to her first invite to eat outside. Then she will just make a reason to go home. But they will still know that she's not okay and will surely asked some questions, Piper as the first one. Skye knew she's not good at pretending she's okay even if though she's not. She's bad at it. But before she can say something, someone called Vanessa on the other line. It's a deep voice of man. It's her dad asking her if she could help her mother in an instant. She heard Vanessa said yes before she got back to the call. "Hey, I'll give you some time to think, okay? Mom needs me for now." Vanessa said. "Okay." Skye's short reply before Vanessa ended the call. She sighed. Finally, she had her time of peace now. Though she still need to think of a reason to say no while the blue eyed beauty is still busy. But her thoughts was cut off when there was knock on her door. It was unlocked so Maddison just opened it. At first it was just her head that popped in from the door but when her sister saw that she's already awake, she entered completely with a sweet smile on her face. "Good morning." she greeted and Skye just stared at her. She knew she had something else to say. "Do you want to eat lunch with us?" Maddison added. She's hoping her sister would say yes since she didn't eat some breakfast. She didn't ate some since yesterday at all. She's so worried. "Maybe later, Maddie. I'm still sleepy." she replied before she put back her phone on her nightstand. "But someone wanted to join with us. She actually was the one who brought the foods. And they look so delish." Maddison said with a small grin, still standing on the door. Skye frowned on what she said. She slowly sat up as she stared at her sister questioningly. Who could it be? She just talked to vanessa and it's obvious that she's still at her house so it's impossible that it's her. "Who?" She asked. Maddison smiled got wider . "It's Violet."
