A Rose In Blood

 a cold and breezy night, not really normal for the small town of Los Angeles city.  It was silent as workers ran inside to get away from the unnatural snowstorm, doors slammed and feet stomped onto the snowy ground, until a scream pierced the air. shrill and painful, there were sirens screaming in the background as if saying hold on we’re coming.  An elderly woman's back was broken and a young girl was slipping from reality as bodies fell all around her, she ran and she was holding on for her unborn baby girl. This girl’s name was Lily Seelye. She was hoping to get better after the  heart shattering accident involving the baby’s father. He had left one house day for work and never came home. The father was dead or so they thought.  The Father, Will Scott, had a twin brother no one knew about. The father was scared he would not be a good father so he left. He was hiding out at his mom's house.  There was a pounding at the door. A million thoughts were running through his head at the time and Will’s mind immediately went to his mom. Will had jumped the couch and flung open the door.       Then, BANG! The silence is shattered by the reality of the bullet that had buried itself in the heart. Before death reached him he took out his knife and stabbed Lily’s father in the shoulder. Lily’s mother was dead now and so was his mother and father. No one to grieve for them any longer      Death gripped him like a vine. Everyone's thoughts always lead to death being painless and quick in their final  moments,  but in reality it was agonizing and slow. Looking up at the ceiling he saw his parents and brother, who held their arms out to him telling him to come and fall into their loving arms as they together fell into the jaws of death. Death hung heavily in that house. The ghost of what happened in that house shall remain to haunt all that live there.  But the death was hanging over Los Angeles hospital and had beaten the death in the streets. Pain racks Lily’s body as she is pushed into the delivery room to give birth to a child who shall forever be alone. With several sets of screams and pushes there was a cry of a baby girl.  With the last of the breaths in her lungs she names her sweet and only child Rosalie.  “After my mother” Lily gasped in pain trying and  desperately failing to hold on to finish naming her forever lonely baby girl. Her middle name Althea after will’s mother and Scott, her fathers last name, with that she let her final breath out with the final hope her child will understand that Lily did not want this for her little girl. Rosalie opened her eyes and looked at the world for the first time with her beautiful blue eyes. A lady brought her a teddy bear to have. Rosalie’s tiny arms and hands touched the bear's ears, too busy to notice the lady slipping on a large necklace around Rosalie’s neck. Then, there was a wailing and she did not like it. She wanted it to stop. It was agony to her little ears. It sounded horrible, probably because she did not understand English and little did she know that they were declaring her an orphan because her mother was dead. The nice lady came back, Roasalie, who was crying as the lady checked her over to make sure she was healthy. Walked over and gave her to a man who took her to a home that shall make her feel like she doesn't belong, because where she wonders chaos will follow making her life hell. Little does this sweet girl now, her whole life will change on the eve of her fifteenth birthday. Meanwhile, in actual hell. There was a young man on the throne. He c****d a brow as he looked down at a man in shackles. Two of them in fact, They were identical. “ What type of foolishness is this?!” He roared. His anger bounced off the walls of the palace. His eyes blazing at the fact that the guards, his guards no less would try to pull such a stupid stunt like that on him. The men in shackles looked at eachother amused. Then the young man noticed the small differences.  One was taller than the other, the right one had freckles across the bridge of his nose. Upon seeing these, he asked “what kind of creatures are you?” The taller one with freckles replied with a cocky smirk “ We’re twins. Duh. I’m Will and that is….” he stopped suddenly because his brother realized where they were and who his brother was mouthing. The other one immediately bowed, forcing his brother down with him. “My lord, forgive my brother and his rudeness. My name is Jacob or Jack for short.”  “ who the f**k are you calling lord?” Will snapped and kicked his brother harshly in the ribs. “Erm, Will who the hell do you think” Jake said level-headly. Lucifer found the way they fought amusing yet annoying, maybe he should take their voice so they couldn’t speak.  After a while he growled and stood up from his throne and roared a stopping command.  “You fallen fuckers are getting annoying!” he said sternly as he slumped back in his throne. He opened a file and chuckled. “ Now I know why you two are fallen angels, You two are brothers yet you killed one another,  how amusing.  And look at that,  one of you just became a father didn't you?”  Will looked guilty “Erm… I was just a one night stand, nothing serious, though I did love her. Her father was crazy. He shot me, he's here right? If anyone deserves hell it’s him.”  Will looked around expectantly. As waiting for the bastard to pop out and scream at him for loving Lily  “ Ah, Alexander seelye, yes, he's here along with his third wife and most of his family”   “ and lily?” Will asked, his eyes shining with something Lucifer couldn’t understand.  “ No, she was too pure for hell to take her in.” Lucifer said, a frown setting on the young king's face. “ You were going to come down here either way, William.  you were a guardian angel sent to protect Lily, not to impregnate her and then leave her stranded at nine months pregnant” Lucifer snarled.  Anger was emanating from him and the twins knew it.  Lucifer summoned an orb and watched a little rosalie take her first steps. He blinked and a small thing inside his chest bumped for the first time again in years. He watched as two elder children kicked her down and anger flared in his eyes, smoke coming out of his nose as he huffed.  He moved his fingers across the orb to the present time and watched a six year old girl laugh and play with a friendly boy at a park and seeing rosalie smile made the feeling in his chest burn brighter. His eyes glowed and he vowed to himself that he was going to protect this young girl with his life and claim her to be his queen one day, and he was not gonna take no for an answer.
