The winters were closing in by the time March started.  For me, I prefer loneliness in the winter as it was slowly beginning to go away. I got out of bed at the sound of my alarm and turned on the heating system; the bed was empty again. Shehzad left without saying anything. I staggered to the bathroom and took a nice warm bath.
