Party
Tiana skipped happily in the packhouse, waving to each wolf. She had memorized everybody's name when she was younger and bored. Reaching the cafe she dusted down her apron, serving the pastries to each customer. A large, potbelly man entered. His ginger hair gelled back against his head. He sat down in a chair too small for him.
"Hello, Alpha Eli." Tiant bowed.
"No need to bow, Tiana." He shooed his hand, causing the two laugh. A blonde, slim girl entered the store. She ran over to Tiana, pouncing onto her and hugging Tiana close.
"Tia! Tia! You coming to my party?" Tiana chuckled when the blondie took a seat across from Alpha Eli.
"Yes, Lottie. I'll be there." Tiana bowed.
"Tia. Do you mind doing something for me?" Lottie asked, pulling Tiana closer. "Can you make some of your famous beignets?"
Tiana smiled and chuckled. "Of course Lottie." Tiana nodded.
"Well, you're at it Tiana throw me a batch." The alpha asked, his voice booming over the chatter in the cafe.
"All baked and ready for you, Alpha." Tiana grabbed a tray. Mouth-watering beignets on the metal tray. Alpha Eli dug into them like it was his last meal.
"Goodbye, Robert." She waved to the owner. The setting sun settled perfectly on her dark skin, making it glow. She smiled, moving down the streets. Each man took a look at the slim girl. Tiana had always saved herself for her mate. After years of searching, she settled down at 20. Now currently being 25. Tiana was positive she was mate-less. The pain of seeing couples together made Tiana's confidence lower by 100. The party was tonight. Lottie had promised her a dress. Entering the packhouse she felt herself pulled into a room. The sudden pull didn't give Tiana enough time to scream before seeing Lottie's face coated in make-up. Lottie always wore makeup as if it were a second skin. It made Tiana laugh.
"You like the dress? Do ya? Do ya?" Lottie was always energetic. She was a good mate material.
"It's amazing." The dress was poofy... POOFY. Pink with the shoulders coated in glitter. The collar bent down to just before anything revealed. Handing Tiana a dress she stared at the green colour. "Lottie-"
"Try it on!" Lottie insisted, not giving Tiana a say before pushing her into a change room. The dress was green. The back slightly exposed, the shoulders barely showing. It was a slight v-neck but not as bad as Lottie's. It stopped just before her knees. The dress wasn't too tight but wasn't too poofy.
"I love it, Lottie!" Tiana smiled, walking from the changing room. Lottie suddenly attacked her with makeup, putting on simple and limited makeup.
"Tia! Tia! Tia! You're going to kill the men." Lottie turned Tiana around to face the mirror. Lottie was right. The makeup made the details of her face stand out. The dress hugged her curves perfectly. Tiana felt beautiful... she was about to break into tears. "No crying! You're going to ruin the makeup. Now, let's go set up your stand." Lottie smiled, getting a few of her well-dressed servants to set up a small bakery stand in the corner beside the stairwell Lottie would be going down.
Lottie moved down the stairwell gracefully. Every head turns to her. A sudden smile perks on her face as a handsome black-haired boy came out, holding out his hand.
"Mate." He bowed, holding his hand out to offer to dance. Lottie pulled him to her and they danced. Tiana just watched, swaying to the music.
Tiana was jealous but happy for her. She seemed to really love him as she cracked up at everything he said. The boy stared at Lottie as if she was a dream that was so good he could never forget it. Tiana moved from the stand, speaking with her hand before feeling an arm grip her waist. The hand felt like it was intruding. She got pulled back. Tiana struggled, trying to pull back. Getting pulled into the chest of a larger man. Facillier. He has always been out for Tiana. Facillier had lost his mate three years ago... everybody knows he killed her.
"Facillier! Let me go!" Tiana growled. Facillier released her.
"Don't think this is over." Facillier smirked. He was a slender man. Mysterious. When he finds his prey, he never gives up.
Tiana looked behind her shoulder. Hugging her shoulders she stayed at her stand.
"Tia! Guess what!" Lottie screamed. Tiana looked at the crowd, seeing everybody wide-eyed and bowing.
"What?" Suddenly... That smell. Tropical fruit mixed with salty ocean water. Tiana was addicted to the first smell.
"The Prince of Maldonia. The alpha of New Orleans pack!"
My mate... was Naveen...

Naveen's POV
Pulling up to the large red brick house I groan.
"Do I have to?" I mumble to my servant, Rob.
"Yes. Your mate could possibly be here." He always reminded me of an old man who turns against you at the end of the movie. I exit the cart and enter the crowd. It hits me.
"She's here." I mumble. Everyone bowed as I growled, demanding respect. The bakery smell... god. I couldn't wait to see her. I suddenly sense fear contracting off her. The brown eyes hit mine and she was absolutely perfect: slim, perfectly shaped face, lips shaped to fit mine. Her dress was a bit exposing but it'll probably be off by the end of the day. I stalked toward her. Suddenly, she shifted. An amber wolf, her eyes turning hazel as she turned for the woods. I chased after her, right on her tail. She was definitely omega, a bit weaker meaning she wasn't as fast. Finally, she stopped. Luckily, I hadn't shifted so she wouldn't see me naked quite yet. I tried approaching her with caution but I felt something suddenly knock me over. She was on top of me, licking my face. The hazel shine in her eyes was clearly her wolf.
"Hello." I muttered, hugging her to my chest. Tingles erupting in my heart and along my stomach. I'm addicted just like I am to her smell.
