Cam stumbled as she was pushed into the compound but found her footing before she fell. It had been a hard hike, much harder coming back here than going down the mountain yesterday. Of course, her hands were free then and she had more to look forward to. She was exhausted from the hike. Her thighs ached from the battering she’d taken last night as the two men r***d her repeatedly. She had spent the night sitting next to a tree, to which she was chained. Her stomach still growled from lack of food. There had been rations for the men around the campfire, but none for her. She’d had only water last night and today. It was terribly hot but she wasn’t even sweating very much. Now she stood in front of the rooster.
