I stumbled backward, my hands flying to my cheeks as I tried to process what Kael had just said. "The penalty is to lie with him?" He's got to be kidding me.
"How can you say that?" I demanded, trying to sound offended despite the heat rising to my face. I'm sure they must have turned red by now.
Kael chuckled, his eyes closing in towards the corners. "You never had a problem sleeping with unknown men, yet you're shy around me?"
