5.Touch

Angel's POV

I am finally here .but how can I be so stupid to believe that I can just meet sky because I want to.he is the CEO of Ryder empire .so ofcourse I can't meet him without an appointment.

I sighed..god I have to make an appointment now.

I walk straight towards the reception trying my best to avoid the weird stares I have been receiving since I asked the receptionist that I wanted to see sky and the receptionist looked me up and down sizing me up and then showed me my place that was obviously out of this gorgeous glorious building.

“excuse me , I want to make an appointment with Mr Ryder." I politely asked.

“Miss ,I am sorry but our CEO is very busy so please don't cause any trouble here"

“but I am not here to trouble.i really know..."before I can complete,I am interrupted by the middle aged employee.

“listen miss ,we can understand you are infatuated by our CEO ,but you can not act shamelessly ,our CEO is very strict and doesn't like to bothered by fangirls like you .you are still young you should focus on your career"..

I don't know what to say anymore.

when did I say I am infatuated.

this is simply humiliating.i lower my head turned around to leave without giving them a reply.

I am lost in my thoughts while moving forward towards the gate with my head down.

my thoughts are disrupted when I bumped into something hard .ugh my nose hurts .I look up while massage my nose to see the cause of my pain..and there they are the ocean like beautiful blue eyes staring straight back at me ...I am in the embrace of the person I have been looking for whole morning and who has been the reason behind troubled sleep for past few days.

I feels like the time around us has been freezed.

it just me and him staring at each other while I have my hands on his strong sturdy chest and he is lightly holding my back with one and waist with other hand....OH MY GOD... WHAT THE HELL AM I DOING..

I hurriedly took a step back coming out his embrace and greet him hoping that he would not notice the blush that has appeared on my face.

“good morning Mr. Ryder."

Sky's POV

“sir we have arrived."

I marched towards my office with Nick closely following behind.

I nodded to greets I received on my way but what I didn't expect was to see angel walking towards me or rather I should say the gate .

why is she here?and more importantly why she looking like a abandoned kitten.while I busy with my thoughts ,I continued walking in her direction...

it wasn't until her soft body bumped into me that I stopped walking.

I looked down at her and saw her rubbing her nose .I smiled looking at her ..gosh she is looking really cute. her ponytail made her look like a highschool student.

she looks up at me jet black dazzling eyes staring at me.her eyes are so pure and full of innocence making people feel the need to protect her.

I don't understand the emotions I feel everytime she is around.

if the person who bumped into me would have been someone else than I would have already detached myself and would have been long gone from the sight...but with her I want to stand still and continue holding her thin waist.

I want to continue staring into her eyes .I feel that people around us have vanished ,it just the two of us .HER AND ME.

I feel disgusting when someone else touch me ,even social gatherings are headache for me but her soft hand over my chest make me sigh with satisfaction.it like her touch warms my heart .

our moment breaks

suddenly she panics and step back .I feel the loss of warmth .

“good morning Mr.Ryder."

“good morning Ms.william." I replied with a smile.

“To what do I owe the pleasure?"I added out of curiosity for her visit.

“umm..Mr.Ryder actually I came to me you .umm silly me forgot to make an appointment." she finishes and laughs embarrassed ? and I can feel she is nervous too.

“you must be busy ,I will take my leave ..."she start even more embarassed because of my lack of response.but I cut her off in middle of the sentence.

“lets go and talk in my office , come with me." I state while pointing towards the exclusive elevator for my floor.

then both walk together and before entering the elevator I order Nick to handle my recent work and then go in the elevator with angel..
