15. a late night call

Ryder Mansion

After finishing the work sky left the office and an hour later reached Ryder Mansion.He hasn’t contacted Mr and Mrs Ryder since the morning but he was sure both of them must have received the news the I have handled the situation . And its not like they care about me ,they cared about the company and their company has a clean name again so there is no worry in the world for them.sky laughed at himself.

He walked in the mansion ,then headed towards his room ,changed and came down to eat on the dinning table with his so called family. For him his grandma was the sole reason of eating the meals with Mr. And Mrs Ryder.

But he didn’t knew why both of them took the pain of eating together with us .

Seeing sky walking down the stairs Julianne smiled happily while Arthur was also secretly happy that because of his mom he is still able to eat his meals with his son.he wished that maybe one day he will be able to ask for his forgiveness and make up for the mistake of past. Only if past could be changed ,it’s been 21 years already.arthur sighed in his heart but atleast he still has a son ,he can be proud of.

But no one could have guessed what Linda was thinking at this time .at this moment seeing sky stand so high and radiating so much proud and arrogant aura Linda’s heart was burning with fire.and thinking about how he is becoming difficult to control with each passing year she really wished he would have died when he was born.only if past could be changed.linda glared at sky when she saw he was busy helping his grandma with food.

Both Arthur and Linda thought they has concealed their emotions well but sky being sky could read their emotions very well.so he felt it all .his grandma happiness and love.his father’s helpless sigh and his mother’s disgusted looks that were thrown his way. It was probably because of the unhealthy environment he grew up in that he was sensitive to people’s emotions towards him but he has managed to make sure he is unaffected by those people , only his grandma mattered….

And now angel too.

In sky’s Room

Sky was watching business news on the television when he heard a knock on the door

Sky saw the time and made a guess..

“grandma?.”

“yes.can I come in ?” grandma replied .

Sky chuckled and Said

“ofcourse grandma come in.”

Julianne walked in and sat down on the side of bed and then looked at sky with anticipation.

Sky couldn’t understand what she wanted saw asked in a confused tone.

“do you want to say something grandma?”

Julianne shook her head and said.

“you tell me.”

Sky was even more confused now.

“what should I tell you grandma ?”

“oh come on sky ,tell me have you started pursuing angel ? How is the process ? Or are you successful already?”julianne asked the series of questions.

Sky was rendered speechless.

“what are you thinking about all day?” sky asked helplessly instead.

“ways of helping you pursue angel.there are few plans of your grandpa which I found very cool but I don’t know if they would work on angel.” Grandma replied in all seriousness .

“grandma ,you can’t be serious?” sky was astonished.

“why can’t I ?” grandma asked

Sky chuckled, he didn’t know what good deeds he did in past life to get the best grandma in the world in this life.

“okay,okay . grandma I have not succeeded yet and I have only talked a few times with her so at most for now we are friends. I like her but we don’t have right .” sky spoke softly while holding her both hands .

“hmm ,you are right .but you should still at least contact her once every day to remind her of your presence .so she can get habitual to it and when you won’t do it she will miss you.”grandma explained.

And sky actually found it very pleasing and intriguing to follow his grandma’s advice ,so he noted it mentally and nodded.

Then Julianne wished him good night and was about to leave when sky spoke.

“grandma who pursued whom ? Did grandpa pursued you first or you did?”

“Ofcourse your grandpa pursued me .”julianne chuckled and left the room .

Sky laughed at Grandma’s reply .

then sky picked up his phone and opened angel's f*******: profile and then started scrolling through it.

he smiled when he can across a picture of angel hugging a puppy. thinking of hug reminded him of their hug and then for the first time in his life sky felt envious of a puppy.

“ugh”sky muttered

and then tried his luck as he dialed angel's number.

1,2,3,4,…sky counted.

When he reached 10 the call connected.

“hello.” He heard the angelic voice of angel.

“umm.hi! You weren’t asleep ,were you?” sky said.
