9.hug

sky turns his face saw the same person he expected the voice belonged to.

he clears his throat and finally speaks.

“yes,it me .I didn't expect to meet you here ?" his voice was faint as if it was very hard to speak for him.

“umm.i live in that building.i Just had dinner so I came out for a walk." angel explained and towards the residential building that was just in front of the park .

sky nods lightly after glancing towards the direction angel was pointing.

“can I sit here?" angel asks as she pointed towards the empty space on the grass besides sky. sky nods and moves the empty cans that were spread on the ground in a corner to give her a clean space.

angel smiles and sit besides him in a way in which her back was supported by the bench legs , and she folded her legs upward then wrapped her arms around it , and rested her head on the knees ,her face was facing towards sky who at this time was looking down.

after settling down both stayed quiet , angel was looking at sky and sky continued drinking his 11th can.

“why are you sitting here Angel?" sky finally broke the silence and asked her.

angel on the other hand was amazed by the fact that how good her name sounds ,when sky uses it .

“ I am just admiring sky ." she replied shyly and faced upwards as if admiring the sky above there heads.

when sky heard her he was stunned , very much pleased to hear her and a faint smile made his way to sky's face.

sky then was feeling a little shy which was very new emotion to him but he still answered back with amusement

“then I should also thank my Angel."

his words made angel somewhat embarrassed and he had brought a faint blush to her cheeks because of the use of particular words MY ANGEL .

both of them then just stared in each other's eyes , there eyes shining under the glow of moon and lips smiling .

“are you alright ,Mr Ryder?" angel asked after a few minutes not breaking the eye contact.

sky broke it first and then turned his face other as if afraid to face her.

“can you call sky ,Ms.william ?" sky questioned still not facing her.

“only on the condition that you will also call me angel ..sky?" angel replied with hesitation.

sky turns his face and finally smiles at angel before replying “promise ,angel."

angel then asks again “are you alright sky?"

and sky dodges the question and replies with a question “why do you ask?"

angel shooks her head helplessly and replied

“because I feel you are not alright and I can lend you my ears."

after not hearing any reply angel adds

“and the plus point of having me as your ears is that -1) I am not a journalist or paparazzi,2) not a business man so your secrets will be safe with me." after Finishing this, angel flashes her teeth like a child at sky.

sky looks at her ,shooks his head and gave out a faint laugh.

“ i don't know angel .I don't know." sky utters in a heavy tone .

“then just answer my questions .hmm?" Angel replies.

“okay"

after receiving his approval angel starts with questions one after other.

“ how's your work going?"

“its good"

“ how was your day?"

“ frustrating"

“ how's grandma doing recently?"

“she is good , hanging out with her friends ."

“ hmm.what about your friends?"

“ I don't have any " sky smiles , he answered all questions while up watching stars

“your parents?"

sky's face turned cold and he couldn't answer any more.

noticing his change angel knew something was wrong so she extended her hand and placed it above sky's hand that was placed on his thighs , instantly face angel and their eyes connected.

angel kept quiet waiting for him to decide whether to talk further or not.

sky looked in her eyes ,they were so pure ,so clear and above all there he so worry , worry for him ,he then looked down on their hands ..her hand was transmitting her warmth into his hand which he felt was directly reaching his heart ❤️.

he didn't wanted to think about anything but wanted to cherish his time with her so he did what his heart wanted he moved closer to her and put his head on her shoulder and closed his eyes. his actions shock angel but she didn't shook his head away or push him away.

he started talking....

“my mother thinks I am disappointment. I am useless unfilial bastard. she thinks she made a mistake of giving birth to me. my father probably agrees to her because he never says otherwise.

i really wish I could just run away or just end my life because I am not worthy." sky finishes and laughs at himself.

“i don't know your parents but I believe the words they used are just words of anger and they don't mean it .now you thinking you are not worthy is totally wrong thought because everyone knows THE SKY RYDER worths a lot.

a lot of people are dependent on you for earning their living, you are inspiration of youth and motivation for every startup entrepreneur, and you also drive many young hearts crazy.so how can you just end it .huh?" angel explained

comprehensively while looking down at his face with admiration.

“this is all true for the young CEO of Ryder empire the sky Ryder ...if there is no Ryder then I am just nothing."sky refuted

“ I don't agree ." angel firmly stated

and then added

“just sky will be still be grandma's precious grandson and a big heartthrob, intelligent, handsome,smart , business minded. ...and still one of my favourite person."

as angel said the last sentence sky looked up at her face that was already looking down at him.

looking in his eyes angel said once again

“ THE SKY RYDER or Sky .you are always worth it ." and she smiles.

sky didn't know how to refute anymore ,he just felt he was losing himself in her black dazzling eyes.his trance broke when he felt a warm liquid sliding down his cheek before he could react angel wiped his tear that has stubbornly fallen out of his eyes after so many years of frustration and handed him his last can of beer.

“ this is your last can right?" angel chuckled

“yes ,I have ran out of beer now." chuckled sky

“would you like to come over to my place to rest ,it late and you should not drive in this condition.?" angel asked her worry evident in her tone.

“my house is small though." angel added

sky knew she has to leave now so stood up and rejected her politely

“no need, I won't distrub your family ,l will just call a cab . you go back too."

“you sure?" angel inquired

sky smiled and nodded giving his affirmation

they both were standing bidding their farewell when suddenly angel took out her phone and dialed a number. sky cell phone started rising , sky was about to check who was calling him when angel hung up and said ..

“ that's my number , in the whenever you want to talk your heart out ,you can call me , I might not be of much help but I could atleast help you vent your frustration a little ....and in the future if some one asked about your friends then you can say you have angel." angel said in one breath nervously and bashfully and then waved her hand , and was about to turn and leave when sky grabbed her wrist and stopped her .

angel turned around and heard sky word

“can I hug you angel ?"

her heart skipped a beat at his words and her face blushed but her head still nodded

then sky came forward and engulfed her in a hug . sky felt his heart beat quicken but he still stayed in the hug enjoying her warmth as much as possible. this wasn't angel's first time being hugged but it still felt different from all time and special so she stayed there enjoying the feeling of sky's strong arms wrapped around her.

“thank you " sky uttered in a hushed voice and then let go ..

“good night sky!"

“good night Angel!"

later they both slept peacefully , looking forward to the new beginning .
