12.that night

Julianne's room

( at night after sky left Julianne room and went to his room )

Julianne heard a knock on her door and thought that sky might have returned to tell something else.

Julianne sat up and called

“come in "

the door opened and the person that walked in was not sky but Arthur.

Arthur smiled from where he was standing and asked

“mom ,did I disturbed your rest ?"

Julianne smiled ,she spread her arms wide to welcome Arthur into her hug , and spoke

“a baby can never disturb his mommy , he can only make her happy with his presence.come on here now.!"

Arthur came forward hugged his mom tightly

“ mommy your son is already a daddy but you call me baby ." Arthur spoke in a childish voice like a baby complaining and then laughed.

Julianne pulled out of hug and kissed Arthur's forehead while holding his face with both hands

and spoke with love

“even if you become a grandpa as long as I am alive you will be my baby ."

“mommy , I am sorry ,I have let you and dad down .I am a failed person." Arthur spoke in shame and then laid down in his mother's lap .

“baby , don't say like that. daddy and I have always loved you and been proud of you ." Julianne tried to reassure Arthur.

“no mom ,this is the truth ,if I had listened to daddy that night ,our lives would not have been such a mess. sky would not become like a person with zero emotions and you would not have been disrespected in daddy's absence. daddy must be very disappointed at me now ." Arthur spoke with a sigh and when he closed his eyes few tears have already fallen.

( men don't cry is a lie ,the truth is men only cry infront of the people they hold the dearest. )

watching her son like this Julianne heartache for him , she wish she could find happiness for him, she wished that she could go back in time and stop her son from going out that night .

Julianne caressed Arthur's forehead and spoke in a weak voice with tears beaming in her eyes.

“son ,you were a victim too,so don't blame yourself anymore.i know how much you love sky and how you protect him ."

Julianne added with a smile

“and baby your son isn't a person without emotions , he is just like your daddy ,he is just good at hiding emotions .and don't worry about him he will soon have his happiness."

understanding the meaning behind her words Arthur asked curiously and happily

“mommy ,is sky seeing someone ?"

Julianne know that her son was very tired of his life and his only motivation is watching his son grow and accomplish new heights in life .so she didn't wanted hide angel from him and wanted to make him happy.

so she reached her hand to the bedside table and picked up her phone and opened angel's f*******: account and showed him.

“how is she ? " Julianne asked with anticipation

“she is beautiful ,..she looks so innocent and full of life . is she his girlfriend mommy?"Arthur spoke with shining eyes and happy smile

“ her name is angel , she is a future fashion designer and she is turned 20 recently .she is not his girlfriend but he likes her,so I will help him pursue her." Julianne said with excitement

“mommy you know everything?" Arthur spoke and chuckled

“ofcourse ,I do ."

“you are the best mommy ." Arthur said happily giving her a thumbs up.

“ok know you should go to sleep ,you work too hard so you should rest well."Julianne spoke showing her concern for him.

hearing her concern Arthur was happy but realising the fact that he has to go back to that woman , he had frown on his face.

“mom can I stay with you , I miss sleeping with you." Arthur asked softly

Julianne understood her son .she saw through his thoughts but didn't confront him but Instead agreed and said softly

“sure , mommy misses you too."

then the duo of mother and son soon fall asleep.

(next day early morning Nick is waiting for sky in the living room .)

“good morning sir." nick greeted sky as soon as he saw him walking down the stairs.then he moved forward and took sky suitcase from the servant.

“good morning." sky replied coldly.

“car is ready sir."

“lets head out first then."

“son wait !"Julianne voice brought a halt to sky's steps.

“ good morning grandma , why are you up so early?" sky spoke softly while walking towards her.

“i have to see you off ,so woke up early. come have breakfast first . don't leave on empty stomach."Julianne insisted and dragged sky to eat .

“okay."

“nick did you had breakfast?" Julianne spoke to Nick

“yes ,Mrs Ryder ." nick responded politely.

after having breakfast they left in the car.

in the car sky is in his usual cold and aloof mood .the car is filled with silence.No small talks ,no laughers.

then suddenly a msg tone broke the silence.

it was coming from sky's phone.

sky's felt annoyed guessing who wants to piss him off early morning.

then he pick up the phone and check the msg.

the msg reads- safe journey sky ~angel.

sky smiled reading this and this shocked nick who was driving in the front.he was thinking if something was wrong with his boss recently and should he contact a doctor for him .
