Jamnia's Point of view.

"Since your exams and rankings will be coming soon I'll be giving extra points on this activity will be doing." Miss Catherine announced, every became silent I saw determination in their eyes. "Go and form two groups with six members per team. I'll be announcing the game in the Astro Dome, hurry and get yourselves changed."

I was about to stand up, try to get friendly and somehow be a part of a group but somethings going on here. They might not say it but you could feel it, the cold stares that they threw at each other is enough. Austin has already four members while Clim has seven, they're arguing who will go to Austin's team.

"Jamnia, come here." The yellow haired girl called me, I did not protest I didn't have a choice.

We waiting for the steps they'll make, the room's noise was so calculated no one made an unnecessary sound. It looks like there's a fued between Clim and Austin and I think it's better for me not to know.

Clim's team has already decided, I saw Myles walked lifelessly towards us.

"Looks like I have to team up will ya'll, lucky me." Myles said sarcastically with her many voice.

"Oh, lucky us." Krezza creepily laugh which made me shiver.

"Let's not fight, winning is our number one goal here. Let's go team! I'll lead all of you to victory!" Austin said trying to brighten up the mood with a cup of pride.

We changed our clothes to PE uniforms before going to the Astro Dome. As I arrived some of my classmates were there aswell as Miss. Catherine, I headed to my groups area. I was beside Myles who same I silently observed the place.

"Wondering what's happening huh?" Myles out of the blue asked. "Well you see, both of them aims to have supremacy over each other. Austin wants to act as a leader since he has the right to but Clim on the otherhand hates Austin and wants to lead on his own. We ourselves decided to side of who is the best for us."

"Why won't Clim let Austin lead? It's Austin's job to do it, it's his right isn't it?"

"Well, an incident happened that triggered the fallback of our section. It was because of Austin's bossy attitude, most of us gave our trust to Clim after that."

"What incident?"

"It's for you to find out." She replied for me to be curious.

"Students, listen carefully I'll explain the rules once." I saw how Miss Catherine was displeased of how this section turn into a toxic environment. "This game is called Treasure Yourselves, the two groups will be deployed in virtual reality world. All of you will be scattered all around the place away from each other, you must kill monsters that you encounter to have a specific map that leads to the treasure. The first team to do so will win, stealing maps by eliminating each other is acceptable. Don't be greedy, I don't want another incident to happen. All of you are the hope of Vastra, don't go killing each other. The extra points from this activity will be given accordingly."

Everyone didn't respond, it was the best thing to do which made me more curious. What incident happened that broke this section in two?

Miss Catherine instructed us to follow her, we stopped on a certain area dedicated for vigorous activities. A few seconds later the floor below us glowed, I was the only one who was surprised everyone had their game face on. Miss Catherine gave me a meaningful stare before I could feel myself slowly disappearing in thin air.

I just saw myself standing near a crystal clear lake, I was amazed by the beauty of it along with the overwhelming nature. Gigantic trees are all over the place, this feels like I'm a protagonist in a certain anime film. It feels so real, I was mesmerized by the place.

I started to play with lake's crystal clear water, my eyes widened as I saw some kind of tentacles coming my way. It pulled me down to the deepest part of the lake, I was screaming loudly panicking. An octopus like hands started to invade the other parts of my body, I was left unable to move. I saw my health point bar appeared right above me, it looks like I'm slowly losing HP. If this continues surely I'll be the first one to die and I don't want that, I don't want to be a burden in our group.

I was slowly losing consciousness, my vision was turning into pitch black. With all that's happening I felt someone dove into the deep water where I felt a raging heat. Seconds later black ink immediately covered the whole river which made nothing visible. I was gasping for air as I felt my body on the ground, I couldn't process how I got there.

"I hate water." That husky voice of his, it's irritating yet mesmerizing.

"Why did you help me?"

"I'm helping my student, looks like your having a hard time." He replied as he grinned at me.

I felt uneasy and wet, black ink covered both our bodies. Without knowing it I laughed like a mad woman, so that's what it feels to almost die. It's thrilling at the same time you want to your sins to be forgiven.

"How did you find me?"

"A thank you would be nice." I blankly stared at him as I try to clean myself with inked water. "Well, I used my magic."

"That figures."

"What?"

"Nothing." I replied and stood up, walking away from him.

"Where are you going?"

"Away from you, we're enemies remember?"

"If you say so, I won't be there to help you next time if you get into trouble."

"The f? How did you?" I exclaimed he was already right beside me smirking.

I looked at him from head to toe, our starry uniform was ruined. It's majestic design was torn and covered in black ink but it was nothing to him. I feel so sticky right now and I really want to change if only I could.

"How can you move fast like that?" I asked as we roamed the dangerous forest.

I just let him follow me, having a bodyguard isn't bad at a time like this. I can't even protect myself, I'm super weak I could die just by breathing.

"Well, I can control the earth. I don't even need a muscle to go to certain places." I looked at him meaningfully, that magic of his could make anyone lazy. "I can control both fire and earth also lava. I'm so OP am I?"

"Really, I bet Austin is much stronger than you." I replied for him to stop on his tracks.

"That's why you team up with him?"

"What?"

"You girls are always like that, all the same. Picking those who are in command just to make your lives easier."

"I'm not that basic bthc, I chose Austin because I had no choice and the fued between you two added trouble to biasly picking teammates. What happened?"

"Ask him yourself."

"Why? Can't you explain what really happened? Why be like this, there's like 12 of us we should be together as one!"

"You know nothing."

It was a while before I noticed he wasn't by side anymore, I shouldn't have provoked him. No one will protect me now, how am I gonna survive this? I can't even summon Virgo even use magic.

I had no other choice but to walk silently hoping not to encounter any monster. In those times of being alone I was weary and scared then an explosion caught my attention. I eventually headed to it's direction not minding the danger I might encounter. This is my only chance to survive a little longer, even with a small possibility that my teammates are there I ran. The smoke and the forest fire was my guide as sprinted non-stop.

"Aliah!"

She was fighting an enormous dragon and she suffered multiple injuries. The dragon used it's claw to attack Aliah, she evaded it using her magic.

"Jamnia!" She said making me stopped on my tracks, Aliah knew how dangerous it would be for me.

"Helio Magic: Incandescent Sunlight." Aliah casted, a weird light fucosed on the dragon burning it with superb heat.

That was more that enough to turn the dragon into ashes, a certain scroll replaced it afterwards. Aliah lost her strength to even stand for me to aid her.

"Get the map." She commanded while breathing heavily, it was far from that usual smiling girl that I always see.

"Not if I, the most beautiful gets it first."
