Alana's POV
I was on my way back when a sharp pain in my arm made me stop. I couldn't understand the source of the pain, it took me a moment to realize that it wasn't my pain, it had to be Blaze's. I wasn't sure what to do, and then, another sharp pain hit me on my side, then my shoulder. He was in trouble, but I wasn't sure how to help.
I took a tentative step towards him, going over my options, thinking of what I could do, when I heard movement, and then a beast jumped in front of me, when he hit the ground, I realized there was an arrow in his side. He managed to get to its feet and moved back in front of me, and I realized it was protecting me, that arrow had been for me.
