Syd's POV
The new year started out with a bang. Oliver and my mom somehow got a hold of a video of my performance at the New Year's party and thoroughly enjoyed it. Greg was mostly done with his high school classes so he left in the middle of the day to go to work, leaving him more free time in the evenings. The problem is it was starting to cause problems for us.
He was frustrated because I was still dancing 4 nights a week plus still had a ton of homework to do when I got home, while he was ready to relax with me by the time I got home from dance. I appreciated that he always had dinner ready for me to make my life easier and he would rub my feet while I did my homework, but I just wondered how life would be next year when our lives were going in completely different directions.
