By the end of Spring Break I was missing Syd like crazy. Yes, I am whipped. I knew I had to prove to her that I loved her and was taking our future seriously. I already signed on to dad's company to start training this summer. He wanted me to learn from him and take over after I graduated high school.
I didn't know if I would be ready then. I told him I may want to go to college to take some business classes. He said he was proud of me and that he would expect nothing less, but that he would want me working and learning on the job as well.
I knew what Syd's dream was and if I had to wait for her to get professional dancing out of her system to settle down with me, then I would wait, but I didn't promise I would play fair.
