Syd's POV
Prom was amazing and the rest of the school year flew by. I found myself ready for another recital and this year I invited my whole family from Salt Lake City out. My SD is slowing inching his way to father. He calls to check on me. He did buy me the car he promised me, a brand new Jeep Gladiator in deep amethyst purple. And he sends support payments that mom has been depositing directly into my checking account.
I feel good that I can take care of my expenses and mom doesn't have to worry about me. He has been covering my dance lessons too. I am happy he has been stepping up. I am even going to stay for a month out there this summer while I intern again at Ballet West.
