Girls Having Some Fun

1019 Words
Amanda P.O.V I stand here frozen, unsure of what to do. I can feel my body heating up from the fear of the judging stairs, with no one to help me.'Where are my parents when I need them?' Sadness fills me as I think about them. Why didn't they help me? A tear escapes me, but I quickly wipe it before anyone can notice.  "What's going on here?" A loud voice booms through the room silencing everybody's whispers as their attention turns to him as he makes his way across the room, helping his sl*t from his office off the hardwood floor. 'Monster,'I think to myself, as I stare at his expressionless face. "Alpha Damian." She cries as she clings onto his arm. "You Luna attacked me without reason." He smirked as if he's amused by the situation. It hurts me to think that this is all just a game to him. Pieces on a chessboard to be used and sacrificed for his pleasure. "I find it hard to swallow that my mate could be capable of such an atrocity." He turns to me and locks his eyes onto mine, unblinking. "Is it true my love? Did you attack her?" "Of course it's true. She..." "I'm not talking to you or Audrey. I'm talking to my mate." 'Mate? Wait. Is he actually taking my side, nah not possible.' I shake those thoughts from my head. Gathering what little courage I had, I spoke out and played along with his game. "No. I didn't attack her." He continues to gaze at me trying to judge if I'm lying or not, prolonging my torment, the smirk never leaving his face, 'like seriously doesn't he have any other facial expressions.' "Are you sure? Audrey we're not have fell flat the no reason." 'Why is he torturing me? I've had enough of this.' I feel my hurt leaving me as my irritation for my captor rises, with my fists clenched to my sides. "You can believe what you wish but I didn't attack her." Without another word I left the room, because I'm not going to be another pawn. I will play his game of master and slave for now until I find a way out of this. I ended up on a balcony overlooking the large garden, just breathing deeply until I've calmed down. Damien P.O.V Not the reaction I was expecting, but, I got some amusement from it, she's fun to mess around with. I know very well she didn't attack Audrey she doesn't have the strength after all she's only a week little human. The only reason I didn't choose to punish Audrey there and then is because I wanted to see how far it will go I'm disappointed with the results but all in good time it's not like anything will happen. I am well aware that Audrey has it in for sweet Amanda I want to milk this just a little bit longer, after all where's the fun without a little competition. who knows it may just help Amanda to fall in love with me so I can end this game. "You are hurting mate!" Jax shouts in my head. "Go to her and FIX THIS NOW! "Like I care she just here for my amusement nothing more." "Not from what I've felt!" "Shut the hell up Jax! You don't know what you're talking about!" I ignore the rest of Jax's ranting as I continue to engage with people attending the party. All asking the same question. Where is my mate? I answer simply and say she'll be back down soon. Amanda P.O.V I hear a knock on the door but I don't turn round. "I'm not in the mood." "I don't doubt it."  A cheery voice catches my attention and I turn round. Laura walks towards me in a lime green, simple v-neck long dress, with her hair styled into a bun, and make-up that makes seen flawless. She comes and stands by my side and looks out to the garden. "You know Audrey is nothing but trouble." I look at her as I wait for her to continue. "She may seem innocent but there's something wicked behind those eyes, as I'm sure you've discovered." "Tell me about it. I just wanna rip her head off." She giggled. "Then why don't you?" "Because I'm not like you. I don't have have super strength, or speed or anything like that. I'm just me." "There's no reason why you can't learn." I look at her puzzled. "Trust me. I'm one of the best fighters in the pack, next to my stupid brother of course. I can teach you how to defend yourself." We slightly chuckle at her comment about her brother. "You would do that." "Of course." I have always wanted to learn how, but Dad would never let me. I have a glimpse of hope but, what about him. My face quickly falls at that thought. "What about your brother?" "Oh don't worry. He won't say no to his li'l sis." 'That's true. They do seem to be pretty close, and if I learn how to at least hold my own I may stand a chance of getting out of this mess in one piece,' so I smile and nod. "Come on, let's go." "Go? Go where?" "Back to the party of course." "No thanks. You saw what happened down there." "Oh come on it's your birthday, enjoy it. You only turn seventeen once." I agree and follow her as we walk back down to the party. 'Hang on.' "How did you know about my birthday and, my age?" "Damian told me." "Well, how did he know?" "You'd be surprised. He even oversaw the party preparations himself." "Your brother did that!" 'I can't believe it. I'm dumbstruck right now, there's no way he'd go to all that trouble, he's just a child who plays games, nothing more.'  "I know right. It's quite unusual for him, and I should know. Anyway let's have fun at this party and eat until we throw up." I smile at her suggestion as we make it back to the party venue, arm in arm. "Sounds like a plan." If only Brayden and my family could have been here, they would have loved it. However, for the moment, Laura and I spent the rest of the night having fun, eating and laughing together. I'm glad I at least have on person on my side, even if she is a wolf. "ha ha ha."
